“Had a fun time playing all the pinball games. Since you get unlimited plays, it takes the pressure off. There's a lot of video games, including consoles. Good to bring the kids or to spend an hour on a date. The owner said they're expanding the basement with black light putt putt and other games. 4 stars because some games were offline, but really worth checking out. I think we paid $20/hour. Lastly, they take safety seriously, so no need to worry about sketchy people. (Update: The person with the one star review is a scared chump. I felt good knowing they want to protect the kids, had no problem giving them my ID.)”

“It's ok. Not great, and burgers are tough and bland, but they got the order right, so that says a lot now days. Staff was friendly enough, place was clean.”

“The most delicious chicken. They have very tasty sauces. They have some neat menu items, but I only ever get lips. Lips are beautiful chicken breast pieces. So filling. Sweet spot on the river too. Yum!!!!!”

“BoodaLu Steakhouse in Quincy, IL is outstanding! This restaurant is in an old brick warehouse near the Mississippi River. The staff was great. Our server, Bre is as good as they get. Personable, knowledgeable about the menu & whiskey choices. She recommended the BoodaLu Old Fashioned, which was spot on with the Wagyu steak pairing. The seared Ahi Tuna app was really good as well. This was my first visit here, but I’m already looking for a reason to return to Quincy so I can dine here again. The down side is, they only have the Wagyu as an occasional special. So if that’s what you have your taste buds set on, make sure you call ahead to see if it’s on the menu.”

“Well, we are in love with Seoul 2 Soul! The flavor of this food is wonderful! Portion sizes are perfect. Some of the menu items change from week to week, so if you really like something just wait it'll come back around. There are also vegetarian and vegan options. Servers are fantastic, very friendly people. We highly recommend this restaurant, so so good! It's also not a very big place so I strongly recommend making reservations.”

“We made this a destination and not a stop so we could experience this great Italian risorante. We are thinking of coming again next week on our way back to Kansas City. I have never had a better veal parmesan. Thick and tender enough to cut with a fork. The ravioli in pink sauce was so tasty. The service was fantastic. Attentive and efficient even though there was a vibrant crowd. The cheesecake dessert topped off the evening in great fashion.”

“Awesome remodeled old building. There is a nics patio out back. Service was incredibly slow (how is there only one person working on a Saturday, and how is that person so so so very slow?). Beer prices are a buck too high. Most beer is average. A few were above average, a few were below average. The moraccan shake, Villa K, and John's porter were their best beers. They do have a few games available for play. It was nice they had a decent soda selection available, however, they are really lacking on the snacks. Parking can be challenging (only on street parking is available).”

“Just started the $14.99 monthly drink subscription. So far I'm very impressed, can't wait to try everything out on the menu! The women in the front was very helpful and knowledgeable about what they can make! The drink conveyor in the back is probably the coolest thing in town!”

“Great food and even better people. Nathan on the grill reallt cares about the food he puts out and it's always a great lunch when he's working. The Philly pizza is a great choice and their chicken for the quesadillas are cooked fresh. It's nit really bar food but more good food served at a bar! The drinks are very reasonably priced and Tamika makes a mean margarita.”

“The pork chop is really good. 5 stars for this piece. Peanut butter pie consistency is too thick. Would not get again. And i love peanut butter things. Strange that they ask for your first and last name and phone number when getting a table (when there’s no wait) and with no explanation. I didn’t like that. Sharing charge for no good reason.”

“Good little diner whose clientele are mostly retirees. The only real "issues" with the place are the limited hours (Monday thru Thursday, 7am to 2pm) and the "cash only" requirement, though they do have an ATM inside. That said, the food itself is on par with most diners. They have a breakfast menu, which I loved, or lunch menu. They also have a different special every day of the week. They had a small dessert menu as well. Plan to spend around $10-$15 per person. If none of this is a turn off for you, definitely give it a visit. The staff were all very nice.”

“Maid-Rite, but not for this crowd. I had no problem with the sandwich, but the rest of my family were not big fans. Apparently this is a very local sandwich (the loose meat sandwich) and not something they loved. I found it to be akin to meatloaf on a bun. They make great root beer in house.”

“We always get the full chicken and beef nachos for the 2 of us. We used to order it as the appetizer and then order separate entrees, however, we could never finish the nachos. We always ended up taking our entrees home with us. We tried to find something similar when we lived in Des Moines, but we never found anything like it. Definitely recommend the nachos!”

“Best meal I've had in a long time. I can't recommend this place enough. Just fantastic in every way; service, cocktails, menu, atmosphere, I could go on. Put this place on your list!”
