“I have been rolling with beggars for years and was so happy to see a new location closer to home. Tried it on Friday and was disappointed. The pizza was hot and fresh but it didn't live up to the beggars claim "we pour it on thick". The cheese was not as plentiful as I have come to expect. I got turkey sausage and there were not many. I wondered if I was eating a sausage pizza or a cheese pizza. I will give it another chance to make good on an excellent pizza... Otherwise, I will return to the stony island location.”

“I don't usually write reviews, but this place is outstanding. Genuine Jamaican food, delicious, inexpensive, friendly, fast. It's worth going out of your way to stop here. If you are a tourist or visitor and go down to see the Pullman national historical site, stop by Royal BBQ on your way and show them some love. Get the oxtails or jerk chicken, plantains. I'm sure they do great BBQ but this is the place to go for a real taste of Jamaica.”

“Honest Review I only went here because it's supposed to be like Home of the Hoagy. It's similar enough that I guess I can see why people like it, but in all honesty, if I'm out south, even with the 1h+ wait, I would still go to the original. I had the veggie hoagie and the fry with sweet sauce. The presentation of the hoagie honestly made me not want to eat it, but it tastes ok, 6.5 of 10. The fries are ok as well, 6.5 of 10. What I will say of all of the places that I've tried that were copies of Home of the Hoagy, ths is the best one so far.”

“It was as good as other locations! I went to Pilsen and Old Town before. Love their flavors. But Smoked Chicken Sausage is my favorite pizza and I can only find it in Hype Park location. DEAR MATT and BOB, can you keep it in the Pilsen location too? Wild Mushroom is my go to choice, everything else is very good. we ordered 4 pizza for 3 people yesterday because we are regulars at other locations. Other than pizza, you should totally try their salad. I know, it sounds crazy but the Brussel sprouts salad is the best and them fries. Oh leftover pizza is still really great too. And heat it in the oven please. Convection toaster does not do the pizza justice. LOVE your food!”

“Everyone should eat here at least once. The food might be a little pricy but it us worth it. The dishes lend themselves to be shared with your table. Be prepared to wait there is a line and not to mention the deliveries they have. The Cameron's en Aguachile Verdes was not spicy but still enjoyable. The Ceviche de Mango is good for someone who doesn't like mango. The best dishes for me were are the warm dishes. The tacos are good for a small meal. However, I highly recommend the Fries Shrimp. It is a filling and tasty appetizer. The Tempura Roll is served hot and it is delicious. It's a must try item. If your not that into fish you can order some dishes with beef (surf and turf). For drinks, I recommended the Aguas Frescas, they come in jars and are worth their price. I will definitely becoming back.”
