“The menu for Lake County's Restaurant Week was absolutely delicious! The menu was created by 2 of the incredible Chefs there -- Charles and Maynor. We were so impressed with the dishes that we had to ask! A variety of options for each course and everything that was brought to our table both looked and tasted great. Please put the Tuna Tartare on your regular menu -- it was incredible! Very friendly staff including our waitress, JJ. Thank you for a great experience -- we have already planned to go back this weekend with the kids.”

“I was traveling for work and looking for a good coffee shop to settle at before a meeting. When I first saw that this was connected to the Metra station, I almost left because I was worried it wouldn't be a good spot to hang out at. Quite the contrary! First off, a very welcoming atmosphere. I met the roaster and we had a great chat about coffee. Second, great coffee and great breakfast sandwiches, even for a vegetarian. The arugula was a very nice touch. A lot of the ingredients for the food came from local sources. You might have to be flexible with the arrival of your food, as the train was leaving soon after I arrived, so there was an in rush of people needing coffee quickly. Just be aware of this, but everything was worth the short wait. I left for my meeting, which ended up being cancelled. However, I couldn't resist going back to buy some coffee beans from the roaster to ensure I could get more of that great coffee at home!”

“Very nice interior after the remodeling, the counter staff try to get you served and taken care of a soon as possible. Needless to say, being on Lake Cook Rd. the drive-thru can get very busy at peak times, even though its not a direct in-and-out to the street. There is not a ton of direct parking, but probably plenty for the amount of indoor diners. The donuts are always fresh and coffee has not been sitting around for too long. There is a reason you will typically find a line here on weekday / weekend mornings, they have it figured out.”

Did I mention that (non-alcoholic) drinks come with the meals? Alcohol selection is predominantly Asian drinks. Which is expected, but I was hoping for more variety on the scotch and cognac selection. Expect great Thai beers, Japanese sake, and some American whiskey's. Will be back.”
