“Great prices! All the food came out at a good reasonable time and everything was good. The only thing that I did not like is the fact that they do not accept credit cards. I understand it's on the back of the small paper menu but it needs to be put when you walk into the door. Luckily they have an ATM on site for a $2 fee.”

“Awesome place! And what make this place awesome is that the bar staff - Bonnie and Jamie - are super attentive and always on point to make sure you are well taken care of. The food is great, the drink is are perfectly proportioned, and the beer is icy cold (as well as the glasses). The thing about places like this is sometimes they're found everywhere - a neighborhood corner bar. The thing that makes Jimmy D's unique (unlike your typical corner bar) is that this place is top notch. Bonnie runs tight bar - the place is impeccably clean and the service is spot on. You will be well tended to, the food will be great, the TV(s) will be on the right channel, and the bar staff will make sure you are not dry. A new favorite to add to the list! Way to go Jimmy D's!”

“What can I say about Wayne's Pizza that hasn't already been said? All I can say is that the hype is real my friends. This place has amazing pizza - the dough is the perfect density and consistency and has a great chew, the perfect ratio or dough/sauce/toppings. They also have amazing meatballs. Have I told you how amazing everything is? Oh, because it's all pretty amazing. Delicious and worth the wait and amazingly delicious. You're welcome.”

“Pork Belly dish was fantastic, just the right amount of spice, that kept us wanting more. Had the spicy chicken which was very tender, but I missed having some vegetables with it. Enjoyed the dumplings and the radish dish. My husband loved the rice beer, similar to a creamy sake. Will definitely go back and try some of their specials which we didn't see until after we ordered.”

“Consistent, well prepared Mexican cuisine. Skirt steak portions are ample, and don't be afraid to order medium rare. Their shrimp cocktail is special, authentic and excellent. Great Margaritas and an extensive selection of tequilas.”

“Nice little diner with a relaxed atmosphere. I had the Mexican Omelette and he had a short order of crepes with bananas. Food was hot and tasty. Our server was generous with the coffee. The restaurant was very clean, the bathrooms were too. The pricing was moderate, though a short order of 2 crepes should be reduced from a full order.”

“The food is always good, and on special holidays the owner apparently makes special menu items happen. The corned beef around St. Patrick's day is amazing. Basically a Cheers type atmosphere.”

“Fantastic food. Absolutely loved the service here and the waiter just made the night wonderful. Very interactive with the guests. Very responsive to requests for extra items (salt or soy sauce) and kept our drinks topped off. Had the Tokyo Steak which was a Filet Mignon which was cooked beautifully. Highly recommend.”

“Almond cheesecake for the win! If you need a fantastic restaurant for your birthday, La Tasca is it! Our party of 10 had a fantastic time. The food is always delicious and their red sangria is the best around...I love that it is not super sweet! Lots of menu choices for those who are gluten/dairy/soy free, too...you will not be disappointed!”

“Best (and leanest) corned beef I've ever had. Our party of four enjoyed the fried green beans appetizer, which was piping hot and delicious. All our dinners were excellent: fish&chips, corned beef & cabbage, sliders, and Jameson-sauced corned beef special. Mac & cheese side was yummy, too - maybe made with beer cheese? Our server was great - very attentive.”

“Cortland Burger was the best burger we've had. Cooked perfectly and the flavor was to die for. Our server Kirsti was amazing. I think she's a mind reader, brought our drinks before we asked. Her suggestions were on point. Everything she suggested we loved. Best Friday night”

“Conveniently located downtown Arlington Heights with garage right next to it. If you decide to park on a side streets be careful because there is 2 hour limit and you will get a ticket. Mago offers great variety of drinks, which are amazing! Food is tasty and stuff is knowledgeable and professional. The only suggestion i would have is that it would be great to see them have some specials during the week. I am sure their chefs are capable of creating outstanding dishes and having specials would give them opportunity to showcase their creativity which would attract even more people to visit this cozy and interesting restaurant.”

“Love there Nova pizza it's only $10 on Wednesday. Good selection and it's always hot when I've picked it up. And now they are located in the Metropolis building on an awesome corner of adorable downtown Arlington Heights. The view is great very city like beautiful fountain park across the street. And the parking is awesome free street parking and there is a free parking garage within a short few steps from the back entrance to the restaurant!!!! They have various specials throughout the week. I also really enjoy there signature salad. Good food great atmosphere!!!”

“Nice looking basement bar located in beautiful downtown Arlington Heights on a great intersection with many other nice restaurants and bars. Unlike other piano bars where the performance is the center of attention here the talent competes with unusually loud noise levels to be heard. Our group of 8 ordered a variety of appetizers and entree thet varied from good to very good with no real standouts. Staff is very friendly but overworked at times. The kitchen is likely not sized correctly to handle large hungry crowds so expect delays for food service.”

“Service was attentive and thoughtful. The food was top tier. Easily one of the best meals we've had in some time. The cheese curds were out of sight! We'll be back!”

“One of the best steaks I've ever had in my life!! The service was even better. They were always aware of our tables needs without being overbearing. I will always decline a one hour wait for a table elsewhere but not here. The service and food will most definitely make up for it.”
