“Haven't been to their other locations so I can't compare, but it's definitely not as good as I thought it would be. The food was alright but a little pricey for what you're getting. There's other local Mexican joints that offer better/food prices. When you go in it almost looks like it would be take out, but it's a sit down restaurant with waiters. They also seemed a little short staffed, it came out slow despite not being busy. Hopefully it's just a rough start and they improve, because the reviews of the other locations seem pretty good.”

“I’ve been waiting for a True Food to open in the suburbs. It was definitely worth the wait. Having been to other locations I can say that Oak Brook is my favorite location. Each time I didn’t have a long wait to be seated, the servers were attentive, and the food was served hot and fresh. There are options for different dietary requests. I eat plant based and I enjoy all of the vegan options on the menu. There are options and what I like most is the food served is based off of the anti inflammatory diet. I’m glad that there is a True Foods closet to me.”

There was no long waiting times on our visit either even though there was a good amount of people at this location. But what is said about the fries is true you get a bag full of fries which is always appreciated. All in all good place to stop for a local bite.”

“Loved it! I knew I would. I love Cooper’s Hawk anyways, but I’m super glad this one opened just outside my neighborhood ! I will definitely become a regular. It’s clean, modern, aesthetically pleasing, food and wine is excellent, and service is great. Both times I’ve been here already I’ve had Julian we my server and as a server myself there are certain things I look for. Julian is the best server I’ve had out of anywhere I’ve been! Very attentive, great charisma, and made the entire experience that much more phenomenal. He also remembered my sister in law and me and who doesn’t love that? ????”

“What a great addition to Lombard!!! Salt & Pepper Cajun Kitchen definitely hit the spot and created some incredible dishes. The shrimp and grits were a plate of heaven and some of the best that I have ever had. There was so much flavor in everything that we ordered. I really think that over time, as Salt & Pepper get their systems down, this establishment can be a staple and "go to" in Lombard. Already looking forward to the next time we can come so I can try the gumbo. It looked amazing!!!!”

Overall disappointed. I've tried to give them a chance many times, but last time I called and again they were out of something. I'm done going to them.
