Not to say the dining isn't worth it there, it is! I ordered shrimp and steak, pretty much knew what a shrimp tasted like but was so surprised with how much flavor they packed into one! And not overcooked at all. The steak was so tender, my mouth is watering thinking about it!”

“16 of us dined here are a couple weekends ago and had a great experience. The service was amazing and we loved that the owner stopped by our tables to give us a little history about the brewery and red stripe beer. The only comment I would have is that egg salad sandwich needed more egg salad. It was mostly bread. But I think it would have been delicious had a proper amount of the filling been added. Everybody else loved their dishes and you can't beat the prices!”

“Being a vegetarian family, it's always a challenging to find places to dine. After doing some research, Dirty Gurt's actually offered the most options for us. They have a hefty list of specialized burgers, all having the option of being made as veggie burgers. That was awesome. The usual sides (fries, onion rings etc) all done really well and floats for kids and adults were great. As a great sense of humor and this is your place.”

“This is a quaint little establishment off from the main strip in Galena. We stopped for an early breakfast and was able to get in right away for a table for two. I've heard it can be hard to get in. I had a fresh cinnamon roll and a half order of biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage. The food cinnamon roll was great. The biscuits and gravy was good, but had maybe a bit more buttermilk flavor than what I'm typically used to. In general though this was a neat little shop that I would visit again.”

“We went to Chestnut mountain during the summer months and had a blast on the zipline and the massive slide going down one of the Ski slopes. We ate at one of the restaurants and it was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. They have a very large drink selection and even carried my preferred brand of Rye Whiskey.”

The only reason I say good on the food is it takes awhile to get it and depending upon your waitresses most of the time it will be wrong or it just not good.
