“Used “Slice” to order. 6:03 p arrives and I get a call they didn’t get the order in the back! Do I still want it or a refund? Starving. Not wanting to find another place I said still want it. Arrives 35 min later. Pizza was hot. First time trying Mazza. Deep dish. Pep and bacon. Was ok. Definitely not bad just lacked some flavor. Crust was ok. Could tell was not “made to order” fresh. But made today. May give another try. But the other place in town will remain my go to for flavor and service and price. This was a bit pricy.”

“Had the jerk chicken and shrimp with Mac n Cheese and beans and rice. Everything was phenomenal and full of flavor in every bite!!! Chicken was so tender and juicy it fell right off the bone!! “$$$ Had lunch with friends and my sisters. Food was good!👍 I drove an hour to meet them here. I didn't like the mushy beans because it was spicy and runny. It was like soup. But my steak fajita was delicious 😋 The rice is just plain, Yellow rice. Not recommended. The appetizer guacamole was great but the chips were not good. My Corona beer 🍺 was $5 my meal was $22 Not worth the trip at all. Waitress was nice but it took forever to get some water. They need to hire more waitresses.”

“***Updated: After a poor first experience, the restaurant manager contacted us and offered for us to give them another try on them. We were very satisfied with our amazing service, the food, and the atmosphere. Now I can see why this place is always packed! We spoke with the manager, owner, and our server and they all apologized profusely for our first experience with them. This second visit definitely made up for our first one! I had the short rib pappardelle and it was DELICIOUS. We enjoyed a bottle of wine, bruschetta and some gelato. We cannot wait to come back and try more on the menu. Thank you to all the staff who made our second visit very much worthwhile! Original review: My boyfriend and I were SO excited to try a new Italian restaurant right near home. Earlier this evening, I called twice in a row to make a reservation for tonight for a table for 2. Both times I called, it rang a few times and then hung up itself. I tried again an hour later and someone picked up, so I made a reservation for 7:30. We got there a little late at 7:40 and no one was at the host stand or greeted us. A server noticed us and sat us at a booth. The table and booth were very close together so it was a tight fit. We were brought bread and water right away, but were not greeted by a server for a least 10 minutes. A server finally came by and said he would give us a chance to look at the drink menu and come back to take that order. We told him we already knew what we wanted to order to drink and he said to give him a moment and he would be back to take that order. We waited for another 10 minutes while the server checked on his other tables, each more than once. We finally decided to leave because after both working multiple service jobs ourselves, we know what exceptional service should be like and this was not it. Very disappointed because we were excited for a new local Italian restaurant.”

“My family came in for Breakfast on Saturday and we were pleasantly greeted and seated quickly. Our server, Jennifer, was amazing. I've never had such pleasant and efficient service. It's obvious that she likes her job. Food came out fast and was hot and tasty. The atmosphere is clean and very upbeat and pleasant. “I saw some pretty nasty reviews on this place and I almost didn’t order. I live in Pingree Grove so I’m hard up when I want pizza. First off everyone I’ve spoken with has been kind, even the drivers. Everyone has a bad day so maybe that plays into it. Food wise the mozzarella sticks do taste like they come out of a freezer but it’s a pizza place and that’s what I’m judging it on. Now I lived and grew up in the city. Central and Elston so I know what good pizza is. This is pretty good. Especially for being so far out. The dough taste fresh and the cheese amour seems fair. Just ordered the sausage tonight so I guess I’ll see how that is. The pep was great.”

“Can not say enough about this place!! Its unbelievably quaint, for starters. Food...AMAZING. Parmesan crusted chicken was to die for and my husband's burger was out of this world. The owners helping in the kitchen and serving was nice to see, like they care about their establishment and their staff! Great smiling, friendly staff too! And we didn't feel like we went broke going out to dinner. I'd give 10 stars if i could! Can't wait to go back!!”
