“My husband and I came here for our anniversary, and I am so glad we did. The service was amazing, Alexis was incredible and very sweet! Along with the other staff. The food was scrumptious. The margarita menu is nothing like I’ve ever seen, and they make great margaritas!! The owner, Chris came out and talked to us several times and made sure if we needed anything. He surprised us with an anniversary desert with a sparkler. So cute. He also came out with complimentary shots for us to toast too for our special day. I could not of been more pleased. The atmosphere is awesome and the outside sitting area is quiet and it feel private from the surroundings. Definitely will be making our way back here! Highly recommend! The main part which you would enjoy is the salsa they are providing that is red and green as I like to have spice food i liked the green salsa one which is really so good! If your a spicy lover and want to experience Mexican cuisine then you need to definitely check out this place! The people at the counter was so friendly and explained everything with neat and clean! I’ve traveled from California to Texas to Chicago and I can honestly say this place is hands-down on the top of my list. If I had to recommend something to order, I would say the shrimp Kung pao, the noodles, combination fried rice, the beef kung pao, and the egg rolls. It won’t disappoint. Speedy service as well.. Only thing some won’t like is that they accept cash only, well there’s an ATM not far from the place. It will be ok.”

“Been going to Hillary's for about 40 years! Still the best around. I think they've changed their sauce up a little bit, but it's still good. The tips and ribs are nice and tender and smoky, the fried chicken is excellent. Shrimp excellent, clean facility, clean bathrooms. Everything is so open, you couldn't really hide dirt if you wanted to, lol! It's a shame someone messed up all of these reviews that were on here for years. There was some pretty awesome stuff!”

“Love this place! We came opening weekend so the line was a bit long but that’s to be expected. The inside is very clean and modern looking. Theres tables indoors as well as outdoors to dine at. There’s a ton of salad options to choose from otherwise you can build your own salad bowl just the way you like it and they have tons of options for toppings dressings. Only complaint is that it is a bit costly and I wish you could get more toppings without paying extra.”

“I was really excited to try this place. The lady taking our order was great. She took the time to explain the different dishes as this was our first time having Peruvian food. We order the rotisserie chicken, the beef empenadas, the hotdogs/fries, the rice and salad. Our favorite was the empenadas and chicken. The sauces are very unique and make the dishes taste amazing. The yellow amd spicy red sauce were our favorite. We will be back to try more sides and to get more chicken.”

The portion is good as well. They look small in my photos. Compared to the similarly priced poke bowls I can get from jewel osco, I would definitely come here to eat instead. It's a new restaurant so I understand that they are still figuring things out. The waiting time was a little long for me. There were about 3 orders before me and I waited for 20 minutes (I looked at my watch and I am not exaggerating). But as I said I understand as it's new. It happens sometimes. Not ideal but it happens. Will come back again.”

The spice from the green sauce was not overpowering but left a lingering tingle in the mouth. The other dish was the Avocado Benedict. It was a nice simple dish.
