“Great experience! The manager kindly offered a sample of ice cream to one of the kids in our party who had bumped her head on the way in and was crying. We got the lemon Italian ice, exhausted parent, and the blackberry lemon. The lemon Italian ice was somehow a creamy texture without having dairy, perfect for a hot sunny day as they have in the description. We all tried exhausted parent in a cookie sandwich form. The cookies have a bite to them, and they make the ice cream sandwich right in front of you. You can get any flavor as a sandwich. Exhausted parent is probably the best integration of the alcohol taste into an ice cream I've had, good flavor without the burn of alcohol. Everyone liked the blackberry lemon (especially the kids).”

“Love this place!!! Our favorites are the honey walnut shrimp, the pad see eiu, and the General Tso’s chicken. Excellent quality, huge portions (each dish is enough for two or even three) and super friendly service! Don’t be deterred by the lack of reviews on here. They just told that a hacker came in and deleted all their reviews and photos. Give this place a try, it’s awesome!”

“Here’s what you need to know: food was delicious, and service was very courteous despite the expected growing pains (food going to wrong tables, long delays in taking orders) but overall it’s a good new addition to the local restaurant scene in Highwood’s restaurant row and I would definitely recommend it. Ambiance is OK - very simple and a shared bathroom in the next door restaurant is less than ideal. Just be patient while this brand new week old restaurant figures out the kinks. Of course it’s a joy to support local small Business, one that is making good food. We enjoyed everything fr we ordered but the house bread and the shrimp gambas. The house bread needs an immediate change - it’s just not good. Which is a conflict with the other delicious food. The shrimp Gambas tastes like a bland cream sauce and that should be adjusted to an intense Spanish style sauce . Other than that the potatoes, octopus, meatballs, calamari were all excellent. “I was dropping off a package at UPS which Is located right next door to M Magnit Cafe. After I left UPS I smelled something amazing, that made me want to go inside this fine establishment and ask what they had to offer. A very nice and friendly young lady told me that what I'm smelling is a pastry that is filled with chicken and potatoes wrapped in a buttery flaky dough. I immediately bought the chicken and beef stuffed ones. They where both equally amazing. Few weeks later I stopped by and picked up 4 more, the chicken kabobs, dumplings and sampled pastries. I'm hooked. Everything here is cooked super healthy, minimal oil, no heavy seasonings, and most importantly, with love. You eat their food, and it taste like someone made this with their heart and soul. My recommendation... try everything. I did and I cannot decide what I love most. Everything here is AMAZING. Give them a try!!”

“Great customer service and tasty GF & Vegan treats! I live out of state and was looking for a GF and vegan place to send something sweet to my daughter for her birthday. My other daughter found Scoops Dessert Bar online so I called them to see if they deliver on Sundays, which they do! Brittany (who I spoke with and is also the owner) was patient with all my questions and flexible with my change in delivery time (no delivery fee!). I ended up ordering a variety pack of four ice cream sandwiches. Brittany said she would write a birthday greeting on the box. They were delivered at time requested. My daughter was thrilled by this “sweet” surprise! She sent the attached photo and said she tried a bit of the cookie and it was delicious. She also asked me for their info so she can visit them in person (they make GF churros every other weekend, next on her list to try!).”

“This place is great!!! We stopped in for a Saturday lunch and came out extremely satisfied. The food is fresh and choices were excellent. There were some unique food items on the menu also. Wait staff was very efficient and always there to serve. Adam is one great guy. He is so full of energy and upbeat that if you were in a terrible mood he could turn your day around just by talking with him. This is a person you want to be around. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. We're headed back soon for a duck dinner.”

“Enjoyed our visit. Good food and child friendly. We got grilled cheese, Tomato soup, muffins and avocado toast. All was fantastic. I’m not a pure vegan but enjoy the food for environmental and health reasons. This place gave me a new reason to eat vegan: Because it tastes good! Our kids got to read “Little Blue Truck” which they love since they sell books there. They also got to have a bit of freedom with the venue having a lot of open space.”

“We ordered curbside pickup. The Autumn and Arugula Salads are big enough to either split one between two people or order as an entree for a big salad. The trout, salmon and half chicken was delicious. Sides of cauliflower and brussel sprouts were delightful. There were three people for this order so it was surprising only one bread roll was included. That said we each took a bite and it was soft and very tasty. We appreciate that their containers were all recyclable cardboard, too. On-time for pickup. So glad Pixca came to our neighborhood. We will be back . . . a lot!”
