“Owners are always there and genuinely want everything to be perfect. Service is excellent and the food is even better. Have been twice. One bowl with seafood (shrimp and spicy tuna) and had tempura chicken on the second visit. All I can say is wow! Will be back many times!”

“Lots of good pizza at Joe's. The Edwardsville location helped us through the pandemic and my wife lives that we've got a closer location. They fix some of the best wings I've ever eaten, and the fried green beans were great. Lots of toppings, tasty sauce, and plenty of cheese mean we'll keep coming back.”

“I absolutely love it here. Since I work in a close-by building, this is a go-to for coffee and lunch for me! Their Post Toast with scrambled eggs (pictured) is a favorite of mine. I should note that this menu item is vegetarian-friendly, as well as their Seoul Shine Burrito if you order it with tofu! You will always get friendly, smiling faces & quick service! Although it’s smaller than typical cafes, they have a great brunch menu. They also have rotating baked goods. Amazing coffee/tea drinks that are always prepared extremely well is a given here. I really enjoy local specialty coffee and this place truly is a must-go if you haven’t been. Perfect spot for doing work, homework, or just chilling out solo/with friends. I can’t stay away- sometimes these guys see me twice a day. 😆”

“We will definitely come here again! The mussels were almost as good as the ones I had in Mont Saint Michel. The garlic frites, homemade chips, fried walleye, and swordfish sandwich were excellent too. I would not order the blue crab au gratin or she crab soup again. The crab au gratin was way too sweet, but the crusty bread that came with it was awesome. The crab in both dishes was very dry and stringy. I really liked the coastal look of the place and the live music on Monday night. Service was great. All in all, it was an enjoyable evening and a great new restaurant.”

“I had such a great time here. I'm from out of town and chose this place because I'm a vegetarian. It did not disappoint. I had the vegan biscuits and gravy and it was pretty good--especially the biscuits the eggs. It takes skill to make a good scrambled egg and this place knows how to do it. I also got an apple tart that blew my mind. To top it off I got a decaf latte which is almost never as good as the real stuff, but this was probably the best decaf latte I've ever had. It's not glamorous but it is certainly unpretentious and I really enjoyed my time.”

“This place really brings out the positives of people by providing a comfort similar to a mother’s comfort. The friendly people at the counter are extremely polite in their words and guided me through on how their ordering system works. Also, I could very clearly see the care that the chefs put into their products and how much talent they have. The building is very sterile and clean with a pleasant aroma encompassing the area. When you walk into the restaurant the music greets you with soothing but youthful vibes. Food wise the selection is diverse and can suit all types of taste buds. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is seeking that place where they can relax, chill, vibe, or in other words, be at home.”

“Simple menu, great fried chicken. The hot is hot but not ridiculous, the chicken tenders are huge, the potato salad is great the Cole slaw was very good and the fries were good as well. I can't wait to try it again and try the livers and gizards. Try one of the rum slush drinks while you wait.”

“Pizza is unique and very well made. Recomend to any locals to try at least once, and even to those wanting to try some new pizza it's worth the drive. It is a bit small, and parking isn't fantastic. The bar as well is pretty sweet with a good selection, some games, and a juke box. Nice place to hang out and get some food and drinks.”

“My wife and I have been eating at the Yellow Dog for the last several years. We live in Worden so it's certainly the closest restaurant to us, but we've also really enjoyed it. IT IS CASH-ONLY! They have an ATM but remember your cash. Seating inside is limited, but it has surprisingly good bar food. My wife loves their shrimp Po boy, and I most recently was impressed with their pork tenderloin sandwich. Anyone who knows the Yellow Dog though will tell you that their wing night special on Monday nights during the summer are a must. The wing night special is year round, but they have live music and outdoor seating during the late spring through the early fall. The wings have about 8 or 9 different flavors and they're all good. Service is usually very friendly and quick to respond. Definitely recommended for those who like a hole in the wall feel.”

“The staff was very friendly and attentive. There have been plenty of restaurants I've been to were the waiter would check on us every 3 times throughout the whole experience - at the beginning, with the food, and when they drop off the check. Not at El Indio! A waiter came by at least every 5 minutes making sure we were taken care of. The owner was working the room and wasn't afraid to help his staff on the floor which in my opinion is a great sign of a great business. This will definitely be my family's go to Tex-Mex Restaurant! Highly recommend!”

We could not have picked a better venue to work with! Russ and his team were nothing short of amazing. He made our day effortless and stress free. Will definitely be booking the Lovejoy for any event we have in the future. Highly recommend!”
