“I have been coming here since I was literally a 6-7 yr old girl. We would beg my mom for hot wings and quarters for the games while she played pool with her boyfriend. Their are not any arcade games anymore but the wings still have that great taste and price 20 years later! And now that I have the American right to drink Alcohol it has gotten even better. Their are always tons of ,music and an old school Jukebox. There are drink specials everyday and a smoking are which is hard to find now days! This is a place where every race gets along fr music and a nice cold drink! THANK YOU RIVERBEND!! #Diversity!!”

“First time here today and was a great experience! Seems like a small town diner where everyone knows your name! Love the decor! The service was excellent and the food was amazing! They’re quick and efficient! We needed ketchup and as soon as we turned around to look for it the man working there was right there to hand it to us. Couldn’t ask for better service!”

“This Rally's location provides excellent and consistent quality with their food. Their service is speedy as well, and provides a tasty bite for a quick buck. Their specials on 2 sandwiches for $3/$4/$5 are what keeps me coming, tons of bang for your buck! The only reason that I docked one star is that their bread toaster has been down and on the fritz for the last couple visits I've made here, causing sandwiches which include toasted sourdough bread to come out sub-par. This is more a comment aimed at the corporate entity that would be responsible for getting such machines fixed or replaced for the franchise location/store, rather than the store or employees within... they can only be as good as the tools they're given. Overall, this is a great Rally's location that's sure to please any burger lover looking for a cheap, fast meal.”

“Great QUICK service and food! Waitress and waiters were very sweet and quick about getting everything we ordered and refills. Food was delicious! They also have some American food choices for the kids to choose from! And whatever that spicy ranch dip was with the chips and salsa...well it had a kick but was so good! Definitely a great family friendly place to eat! Prices are great, too!”

“Delicious food like grandma used to make. Wait staff are wonderful, food arrives quickly & in abundance so be prepared to ask for a go bag or bring your "A" game. Breakfast is always great & the pancakes are better than IHOP.”

“They live up to their slogan, "Freaky Fast", EVERY TIME! I barely have time to put away my change before my sandwich is done. I hope all locations are as speedy as this one! The sandwiches are as expected, but the staff is hilarious and super friendly. Literally had my sandwich ready before I was done paying too Sandwiches are good, much better than a Subway sandwich.”

“Food is very good. Prices are excellent. I recommend one of the combination plates if you are new to them and enjoy a sample of their offerings at an especially inexpensive price. If you are an established customer, then you already know what is on your favorites list! Authentic Chinese food prepared by Chinese people. Not real fluent in English maybe, but they can cook! The establishment looks like it was pulled straight from China Town... The old one. Don't let that scare you! ????”

“My favorite pizza in St. Louis (even though it's in Illinois). The staff is mostly teenagers probably still in high school just trying to earn their paycheck so...take it easy on them. I've only encountered maybe two young ladies who had an attitude or who were a bit snazzy. I've been coming here for a few years since I moved to Illinois so I don't really hold that against them. Everyone has bad days. I would recommend management try to update the training for their employees so that they can get out of the habit of helping customers like robots. I understand that they probably deal with a hundred customers a day so they are just going through the motions, but... c'mon. Them: Hey, how are you today? Me: Terrible, I broke my arm today Them: Great. Are you picking up or ordering? Anyway, the only reason that I am giving this restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pizza quality varies depending on the staff that is working that day. I've noticed that when I order a pizza at a certain time on a certain day there is a gentleman on the staff who cooks the pizza to absolute perfection???? Other times, it's pretty much hit or miss. Too much sauce, not enough cheese, 3 pepperonis stuck together to make a super pepperoni, etc. All in all though, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is a fan of thin crust pizza.”

“Very relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. A staple of Alton for decades. Their menu is typical of good Italian restaurants and their Pepperloin steak is what they're known for. Excellent selection of bourbons and whiskeys. The staff is very friendly, if not overly attentive, which is by no means a complaint. Wonderful family photos displayed as well as great shots of Alton through the years.”

“We stopped by for a cocktail because the bar area is beautiful. We stayed for dinner to see how it was. Honestly we were very pleased with results. Being somewhat new they have limited staff but the drinks were good and the steaks were delicious. You should at the very least stop by for a cocktail and see what you think. You have nothing to lose by trying a different place in Alton. P.S. Great background jazz to keep you company.”

“Fantastic dinner! The staff is so friendly and Mel did an amazing job describing Chef's dinner menu - our mouths were watering before we ordered. Chef PK did not disappoint! Very creative, local, and tasty entrees. Must try! Too hard to describe with words! Save room for dessert - homemade carrot cake with shaved candied carrots on top!”

“Really good food for brunch. We arrived a little before noon and there was limited seating available and we're seated right away. Most of the food was fresh. The brisket and prime rib were my favorites. My wife had a freshly prepared omlet and it was made perfectly. Only drawback was the service. Couldn't get a refill for anything. Had to go to the bar and serve thy self. That would have been fine if they told us that to start with. Have always received great service in the bar just not in the dining room.”

I've never seen a dish called brothers pizza anywhere. Tried it, loved it, and it might just be my new favorite dish. Highly recommend it”

“I'm new to this area of the country having started a job 3 weeks ago in a neighboring town and decided to try one of the local establishments. Sam's has a friendly storefront and it caught my eye. Inside was clean with a nostalgic decor. I sat at the bar with a couple of patrons and ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich, fries and a drink. The sandwich and fries were tasty and the bartender was very entertaining as was the patrons. They made me feel welcome join the conversation. As first impressions go, this was about as good as it gets. While I didn't have time to try their pizza, one of the other patrons was eating a thin crust pizza and it looked REALLY GOOD!!! Sam's Pizza & Pub earned 2 thumbs up from me and I will be back to try some of that pizza! If you find yourself in Highland IL and have a hankering for some pizza goodness, give this place a try. I cant imagine anyone not enjoying this place. Cheers!”

“Our food took 45 minutes to arrive. Our waitress didn't even offer any apologies until 30 minutes passed. Three others got their food before us even though they arrived after us. Food was mediocre, which was surprising since that wasn't the case before. Kicker was they still charged us full price!”
