“I like this bowling alley because it is open and bright, not cramped and dimly lit. Yes, the bowling lanes themselves are dimmer than the lobby. The laser lights are generally fun. They do have some that move and then flash. The arcade is also well lit and spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are roomy and clean. There are lockers available.”

“As a sperratic patron at this establishment, I think they do a pretty good job. Never has the food not been quality, and attached to the listed price I do not know how you can beat that. Never met an unpleasant employee at this establishment and the owners are good people. Sure, there have been a few times I have waited 5-10 minutes for a hot and ready, but what people need to understand is that this is such a small town that they cannot load the hot box full of pizzas because 90% would go to waste. Supply and demand along with freshness and quality is paramount. Good place for a cheap way to feed a family!”

“Brought a group of 13 for my daughter’s 13th birthday party. Worked with Ivy and Debbie, two of the nicest people you’d ever want to meet. Ordered the food in advance and it was cooked perfectly and ready right on time. Thin crust was perfect; cracker-thin and just the right amount of crunch. The basic thin crust sausage pizza was absolutely delightful. Loved it. Our “crowd favorite” was a margharita (tomato, basil, garlic, mozzarella, and olive oil, thin crust). So so good. I want to thank Joe’s Place for a delicious meal and for being so accommodating to me and my group. They couldn’t have done a better job. Impossible to give this place any less than a perfect 5-star rating; everything was excellent and delicious and a great value. They even allowed us to bring our own cupcakes for the birthday dessert. We’ll definitely be back... thanks to all involved in making our meal such a great success.”

“I love McDonald's. Rarely do we eat there. I was running late and had not had anything to eat yet. So I decided to go to the drive thru on my way to the store. Offered a cheeseburger if the dollar menu and I saw the sign for the new bacon cheese fries. I love bacon cheese fries so I thought I would try them. They should take them if the menu they are not good at all the cheese tastes funny and it is almost like bacon bits. Very fake tatting so the way. It actually ruined my favorite fast food fries. Don't waste your money in them.”

It's like I was destined to go there. Walked in and liked the layout and really liked the girl stationed by the door. Seated us and right away our server was there. The food was fresh, cooked perfectly and I would never lie about something like that. So good and on top of that the Chef kept checking on us. And you could see the fire in this man's eyes. I'm definitely going back and I would hope if you never have been there you'd give it a try. You won't be sorry... I would say tell them I sent you but it's not like that. We have heard wonderful things about and felt that Crandall’s is an excellent dining option in northern IL. Food / Beverage – A very nice menu of items that you might find at a ‘supper club’. Being a Friday, we were looking for a ‘fish fry’ and Crandall’s is the place. Both my wife and I had the ‘fish fry’ with ‘potato pancakes’ on the side. The fish was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The potato pancakes were a very nice side. Service - Very pleasant wait staff on such a busy night. Our server did a great job. Our wait was quite short given how busy the restaurant was. Certainly, a well-managed restaurant as there was plenty of staff on hand. And it's always nice to be served by people who don't mind being at work and have a positive attitude. In summary - A very nice place. We do plan to return and try other items from the menu as well as their Sunday Brunch.”
