It still had something on it from a previous guest that was missed when it was cleaned. The restroom wall needs to be repaired. “Always friendly staff that goes above and beyond what I would expect from a low wage food job. Food has always tasted good. I'd personally recommend the Wisconsin Mac and cheese with grilled chicken and a side of the chicken noodle soup. The ambiance during the day is nice but I most recently visited after dark and there is some cool mood lighting that I normally would associate with "trendy" overpriced places. It was a nice change of pace.”

“This pizza place is like no other! They have you to choose more than a regular pizza place for toppings on their pizza. If you don’t want the crust then make a salad with all the toppings you can think of with so many different choices to add to it! It’s like walking into a Subway but for pizza’s. This was my third time and I made a different kind each time! If you like a thin crust with a crunch, this is the place! The cost is very affordable too! I’m sure I will go back in 3-4 weeks from now because I don’t want to get sick of it! The people working there are very friendly and patient with my choices because as you can see in my pictures, I had more than than a normal pizza!”

“I've loved Spider for years, I went from cringing at the idea of raw fish to enjoying multiple rolls of it. The sit down service has always been very good, the food comes out timely and every roll I've tried is great! I don't think it's expensive (it's sushi, hello) and we always get a wonderful meal when we go in. It really is worth going inside and enjoying a casual sit down dinner. The ONLY issue we have ever had is with their takeout services. I now caution people against getting takeout if they can help it. We've never gotten a correct order and getting it fixed can be a bit of a pain. My partner now refuses to do takeout from Spider. The last time we called ahead for takeout we got to the restaurant in the 20 minute time window they gave us and we waited an additional 30 minutes and watched other orders go in and out without anyone really explaining what was taking so long or apologizing for the wait. The chefs were watching a football game and while it's understandable that sometimes humans will be humans (I'm a server and I'm usually really understanding of how working in a restaurant goes), we were so extremely disappointed in how they handled everything that night that we haven't been back since. We are going to go in again tonight and dine in, and I know we'll get great service and food. Just know to check your order if you decide to get takeout and wait to pay until you know it's all correct to avoid any extra hassle. I do hope Spider Sushi is around for a long time, it's definitely a date night staple for many Rockfordians!”

Cheese on pizza all in the center, nothing even close near the crust . Looks and taste like someone threw together with no care what so ever . Not even cooked long enough. Even chintsy on the sauce, cheese, and sausage . Simply sooo disappointed ...normally I love this place and why I'm such a dedicated customer. Scared now to try wings. Maybe a bad day, not sure but also not sure if I'm going to risk going again. ????”

Looking at the menu, the prices were higher than I would normally do, however, we tried nearly all of the "small bites" and a couple of the pizzas and street tacos, and for round two we tried almost the entire dessert menu.
