“Being a regular patron at Patachou, I was very excited to try the cafe at Zionsville. The cafe is located in the village which is a very upscale area right beside Lions park. It was a rather busy day at Lions park today which led us to wait for 40 mins for a 1 pm lunch. This is something I do not relate to. No automated, advance booking mechanism with such a high drive of crowds at any given time. The show stopper was Phat Rabbit today - veggie filling on a vegan sandwich. The flavors were robust and the portion was so filling, yet the right taste and spice (vegan spinach jalapeño pesto). The chocolate pistachio cookie (made with pistachio flour) was a massive disappointment. The chocolate flavor was so overpowering that I didn’t know the pistachio existed. 1* off for the hype, and so didn’t meet my expectations. Parking can be a mess on weekends. Mostly street or grab as you drive. Outdoor seating is amazing and pretty! Staff is exhausted and worn out at 1 after a massively busy Sunday. They try to rush you into ordering, extra orders and check. Definitely can look at a better plan for busy days. It wasn’t totally on par or as I expected.”

“Caplinger's has some of the best seafood in the area. I was shocked that they had alligator on the menu as the last time I was able to have it was in Florida. I remember it being one of the best food items I have ever ate and this place replicated that experience perfectly. They have a lot of great seafood options and otherwise exotic items that you won't find anywhere else. They certainly offer a better experience than other places that offer simple fish options. I highly recommend Caplinger's when you have a craving for seafood. I know it will be my go to place!”

Verified that it was incorrectly taken and made sure it was made correctly. We had experiences at the location on Michigan Rd where they made it incorrectly. “Our waiter Tim was spot on. Had good info on the wines and the entrees... excellent timing throughout the meal. I had the NERO - squid ink infused pasta with crab and lobster. My wife had the gnocchi. We have been to Italy and found the gnocchi here surpassed the homeland. Good wine, good salad, great entrees and cannoli that, even though I was full.... could not pass up. We have been to the one over in Carmel and found this to be consistent in quality. Really nice laid back but well designed atmosphere. We will be back!”

“Always inviting. Moderate pricing but worth it. Yes you can get a burger but you can also go for a good steak. Went today and went "off menu". Bowl of their chili poured over an open face cheeseburger. Pix attached. Stormy communicated well to the kitchen. Made perfect. Really filling. Michael is a great waiter and represents a really good staff. Try the wedge salad with steak, chicken or salmon. Makes a wonderful dinner by itself! Good wine and beer selection.
