“Overall nice place with a good menu selection, with a couple areas that could use improvement. Pros: Food was well prepared, and there was a really nice balance between protein/carbs/veg. The option to pick between regular or cauliflower rice is nice if you're trying to be calorie conscious, and the overall flavor was really nice, looking forward to trying other things on the menu. Portion sizes I felt were nice, enough that we both felt satisfied without feeling excessive or like it would be impossible to eat without a take home box. Cons: The service felt rather impersonal and unresponsive. Could tell generally that the staff were working, but nobody came to check on us during the meal at all. It felt more like they were interacting with each other than the customers. We waited about five minutes at our table before water came out, and drinks didn't come until after our food was delivered by the chef (not our server). Our server came to take our order, and then dropped off the check at the end; did not even ask if we wanted dessert, which we had to ask to order after the check had been dropped off. We also asked for outside seating, but unfortunately were placed in an area that had zero shade which made it uncomfortable until some cloud cover came in. Getting enough umbrellas/shades to cover the outside seating would be nice. Food was generally very good, but some of the pineapple in the dole whip we ordered was pretty sour and some pieces still had inedible pieces of green stem still attached. Overall the food, location, and atmosphere were nice enough to make us want to go back and try again, but the lackluster service holds it back from being 5 stars for me.”

“The food was great... as expected. It reminded me of being in a small cafe or dinner in New Jersey / New York which was great. The people where friendly... but the service was a little slow. Which did not bother me... I understood that to be the case before I arrived and it provided my wife and I more of wan opportunity to talk. After all it is not traditional fast food, they make it for you as you wait.”

“Best Starbucks EVER! I love dropping in here as it’s down the road from my house. They have a fast moving team that is ON IT. This location literally has a woman named Sarah who puts all of the to go orders together and hands everything out. She greets everyone and I was very impressed by the number of people that she knew by name and remembered their usual orders. This location is right by a ton of hospitals and the high volume of traffic is handled so well.”

“Great Chef & Great Service everytime! I guarantee you'll find something you like but I would suggest anything on the menu or Chef's new creations! The Reggie is a staple and most people's favorite, Wildwood, Loaded Chips are a must, Eli is awesome with the fried egg, the MOAB was stellar (not on the menu), the Rach is another good option. You really can't go wrong with anything on this menu.”

“A go-to place near home. It's got good food, ambiance and delightful coffee. You can have a seat and relax solo with your laptop and latte as I've done on occasion when trying to focus, but this place really shines when you bring other people here and enjoy a chat with your coffee. The people are nice and not overly invasive which is also very nice. If you love good coffee, definitely would recommend H & C if you're near one.”

“I am not a bread person at all. I normally don't even eat dinner rolls if they are served. However the bread that they use to make the kolache is amazingly good. A lot of different flavors to choose from. I had a hot polish sausage and a sausage gravy. Both were delicious. Definitely worth trying.”
