“We ordered 2 pizzas and some wings from the Emerson location on a Friday night and were quoted a 30-minute delivery. From the time I ordered it to the time it got to my door, it was about 20 minutes! The food was also literally steaming when the guy handed it to me, so it was very fresh. This isn’t even the closest Pizza Hut to our house, but it’s the one designated for delivery for some reason...and I’m glad it is because we’ve never been disappointed with this location.”

“I have drove past here so many time and never went in because the outside looked unappealing to me. And I regret it! My fiance and I finally decided to go to here and we absolutely loved it! “I live within 3 miles of one store, but travel 6 miles to the Shadeland location because the subs just taste better. I have no idea why, but they do. The staff is wonderful - pleasant, polite, efficient and, best of all, they don't blink an eye when I order my sub without cheese. Also the store is always neat and the restroom is well maintained.”

“Definitely give this place a try. The burger was great and they have a gluten free bun available! The cooked veggies were nice and the iced tea was fresh. The cobbler was too sweet for me as the cake/dough part was sugary. It seemed good at first but quickly became overwhelming sweet. Next time I’ll just go with the whiskey ice cream. But tonight we stopped in and had a minor issue placing our order the young lady with the sparkling black and silver finger nails went and got Justin (manager). “Greens and cabbage were delicious. They were out of brisket though. Someone there shared you have to call in advance to check on brisket because they run out often. I had fish instead; i was good but not something I'd order routinely as it wasn't amazing. My sister loved it though and ordered 5 servings to go for dinner for her family. My sister raved about her burger and said it was seasoned very well. My friend loved her mac and cheese, creamed corn, and banana pudding. The staff were really great too! Super friendly. I called my husband at work and told him I'd found a place on our side of town to try out their ribs. Will report back more later!”

“Absolutely fantastic experience. Food was delicious. The Irish Skillet was especially great, as well as the lentil soup. The menu is a book, and they have too many options in my opinion, but the breadth of options didn't appear to affect food quality in the slightest. Angie, our waitress, was incredibly friendly and attentive. She was everything I'd want from a diner waitress. The decor is not modern in the slightest, and is rather kitschy, but that just adds to this place's charm. It's a simple, down-home style place. My only complaint is that this is in Indiana rather than my hometown, so I can't visit as often as I'd like.”

“First I will say that the food was very good and hot. Our waitress was nice, but not all that attentive. Always had to ask for refills, and often went very long periods of time without seeing her. The wait to be seated wasn't too bad, about 30 minutes, which isn't bad for a Saturday. After being seated, however, we ordered and waited about 30 more minutes for our food. At that point the waitress came out and told us that our ticket, along with the tickets from a couple other tables got messed up some how, and that it would be about another 30 minutes before we received our food. So from the time we walked in the front door, until the time we actually had our food was about and hour and 45 minutes. That is pretty slow! We were not offered any type of discount, and the manager never addressed the issue. But at least the food was good and hot!”
