“This has become one of my favorite places to eat in Bloomington. The dishes maintain a distinctive grounding in the traditional Mexican fare but also allow for some creative twists. The stuffed avocado is one of the best things I ate all year. The margaritas are very tasty, with a good portion of tequila. Service tends to be a bit uneven but mostly appropriate. The location is near a parking garage, which makes it very accessible.”

“Only place we've found gluten free pizza & it's pretty tasty. Popular place, we usually have to wait 5-20mins to be seated. Hostesses have to multitask so you aren't always dealt with when u come in door. Pricey. Easy to rack up $45- $50 check for 2 people for pizza, drink & tip. Some of their pizzas are very tasty. Salads are good as well.”

“Janko's is a Bloomington institution. Hands down the best steakhouse in town. They do have vegetarian options, but that is definitely not the draw. They also only serve wine and beer - no mixed drinks. The wine selection is extensive and their beer selection good. I celebrate my birthday every year at Janko's, except when it falls on a Sunday.”

“This has to be the absolute best vegetarian place to eat in the entire state. I love their peanut tempeh dish. It is the best ever. I just wish I could go more often, but we live on the East Coast! I can surely understand why this place is always crowded. It really is THAT good!”

“It was late when we were there so is hard to know howmuch better it would be during the day. The pizza looked liked it had been there a little while. But the fresh food they prepared was really good.”

“Open early. Good food. Reasonable prices. Handled a group of 20 on a below zero wind chill day. Pay attention to ingredients on eggs benedict...not what you'd expect. Large B&G order could feed four.”

“Pretty good hole-in-the-wall pizza for a pretty good price. They’ve got a nice rock-n-roll type theme going, as well.”

“This place is super cute fantastic remodel, and they have so many vegan and veg options. We went for brunch on Sunday, got pancakes, latkes, and biscuits and gravy, it was all delicious so I almost forgot to take any photos. We will definitely be going back to try some of their bowls soon!”

“My husband and I took our niece, her fiance, our daughter and her boyfriend for some drinks and fun. We had a blast! The young college students kept beckoning us to the dance floor and made us feel truly welcomed!???? The drinks were priced well below what we expected, and the sound system was rockin'. The only thing I can suggest for improvement is hiring a DJ who is in tune with the patrons. I requested a song, which the DJ immediately told me was not possible. I also noticed that VERY FEW people were dancing. A good DJ reads his crowd and adapts the music to the crowd. This DJ seemed set on playing what HE wanted to hear rather than what would get the people moving...sad. Dub step is not a substitute for rhythm and funky beat! All in all, we had a fabulous time because the young people who were there had a genuine and kind spirit ????. Thank you for the great memories!”

“Talking about authentic Mexican food. Generous portions. Great priced. The owner is a older woman she cooks and serves the food. Very friendly atmosphere.”

“Visited a couple months ago on Halloween. The staff was courteous and helpful. I ordered the bacon mac and cheese burger, and it was very good. Cooked slightly more than the medium I ordered, but still excellent. I liked the feel and the atmosphere in the restaurant. Was a great place to enjoy dinner. I would recommend it.”

“I love Homie Hot Pot! It's the most unique and satisfying meal experience in town. Is there anything we can do to help get the table-top hot-pot back? Happy to sit in on city council meetings or contribute if more work is needed.”

“An alright sushi joint, but I feel the menu is a bit too American-mediocre for me. How many rolls really need cream cheese or deep frying? Would love to see more traditional or adventurous items.”

“My favorite pizza. I love the sauce and crust, especially. This particular restaurant is ALWAYS quick. I frequently order pickup and my food is always ready and waiting. The staff is super friendly and very kind about answering allergen-related questions. (I always ask to insure everything online was transferred properly to their establishment.) UPDATE: Never order in store if you want the best deal. Always order online. Additionally, if there is an issue the company has all the information to make it right if the individual store will not.”

“Really good food. Portions are on the smaller side but quality is amazing. Our server was very enthusiastic and made our dining experience well worth it. Although I had the hot dog which was extremely salty.”

“This Domino's has gotten me to switch completely from their competitor right down the street. Not once have I experienced abnormally long wait times, missing items, or under/overcooked food. I've ordered both carry-out and delivery, and both options were all pros and no cons. Also, their Pizza Tracker is far more accurate and responsive than other competitors that have attempted the same thing.”

“The food is so amazing! It’s always still hot, cooked to order, and tastes delicious! The service is even better! My sister and I go here at least once a week and are never disappointed. The people there know us and our order and are always so kind and ask us how we are doing. Love this restaurant and the people so much!”

“For a late night Mexican restaurant, this was pretty much as expected. The food was pretty average and lacked any notable spice. It tasted fine but I was hoping for a little more flavor. The service on the other hand was very good. For the cost, everything seemed about right. Overall, it’s not worth going out of your way to come here but it’s fine if you’re in the area.”

“This place is a mixed bag. Service was extremely slow considering the restaurant was not crowded and it was brunch. Menu listed on Google Maps is not the menu that you can order from at the restaurant. Apparently its an old menu that they do not use anymore. When the food finally came it was tasty. Tables and chairs not very comfortable which made the waiting worse.”
