“So many flavor selections! So many toppings! I came here because I enjoy Zero Degrees and just found out that Bapu Fresh is a sister store?! This will definitely be a new regular stop for me, as I live on campus and getting over to Zero is harder. I tried their new “coconut milk tea” with tapioca and it was AMAZING. They do require masks, no exceptions. The workers are VERY firm on that policy. They do provide masks right inside the door though. I see some reviews on here and Zero that bash them for being rude about it, but we’ve been in this pandemic for way too long for people to still act like they have no idea what a mask is. Wear your mask to order and enjoy the great boba/tea selection Bapu offers.”

“Exceptional in every way! The owner is extraordinarily kind and an absolute master of his craft. Each sandwich is built with precision and is as photogenic as it is delicious. The lamb kebab was outstanding: meat is juicy and well seasoned, pita is lightly grilled & satisfying, produce is crisp & fresh, and sauces are flavorful and balanced. I tried mine without the red spicy sauce and really apprenticed the combination of flavors. Lastly, the price is not only better than the steep down-town average, it is a great deal given the portion size and high level of quality. It absolutely merits a 6th star and I cannot recommend it highly enough!”

“Switchyard is a super fun place to work and relax! Whether it's a Friday night with live music or a morning during finals week, I always love the environment. The bottomless coffee is definitely a plus for students looking for a chill place to work! The gluten free pizza at KD Slice Shop is incredible! The dough is made from scratch, in-house, and it's the best gluten free pizza I've found in Bloomington (or anywhere else)! While they can't guarantee it for individuals with Celiac, they do use a dedicated gluten free space and pizza cutter. Like most places, there is always some risk due to the shared kitchen, but I personally have not ever had issues here as a person with Celiac. I love coming here for some pizza and a drink while doing homework or hanging out. Despite being a taproom, Switchyard is family friendly and fun for all ages! I enjoy bringing out of town guests here for games and drinks, and friends with dogs can hang out on the patio with their pups! Switchyard is one of our favorite places to work in Bloomington. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun place to hang out or get some work done!”

I was greeted by the owner Craig and we went over what had happened. Couldn’t ask for better customer service. They remade my entire order free of charge without complaint. “Whenever I move away from Bloomington, I think I'll miss this place the most. Sure, upland and cardinal spirits, but you can buy them out of state. Everything about this business i love (except for the slaw but its a me thing and not their fault), from their sandwiches to the management. They are the reason I have a strong love for Italian sandwiches and now pastrami, which I just tried. They are always so flavorful and simple, just perfectly executed. Their sides are also great! They have pretty tasty fries and chips galore. I haven't tried their hot dogs though, but it's on the list. The thing that really makes this place shine is the owner though. If you ever speak with him, you can almost hear his passion for his business. He wants to make sure everyone is taken care of and has an incredible amount of energy for someone who is so busy! Hiring his own delivery drivers is also a great way to make sure his employees are well taken care of instead of using door dash. I implore you, please give this place a shot. Get their delivery some time. You seemingly can't go wrong with anything they serve.”
