“A great business has more than quality products or services. The family who runs and owns this place are some of the best people I have ever met. Even though they sell food, while my family provides music goods and services, I do believe that this family's wholesome nature and solid values have been a great asset to those around them. I also am confident in saying that I like their coffee much more recently, not that it was anything less than stellar before, but that it's richer and more flavorful these days. Truly a community center in its own right. And, no, the pizza is not "burnt.". It's made in a real brick oven which naturally crisps the edges of the dough. Just like Italian pizza from Italy.”

“Sat at the bar here, the staff was very polite, weren't over bearing, had the ribeye and lobster tail, first place in Indiana I have run across that actually did the lobster tail correctly, the butter sauce was too thick but I easily fixed that myself, ordered the steak medium, but I think they try to cook it at too high of a grill setting because about 90% of the steak was perfect, had to cut out a couple of very small purple uncooked spots, but the seasoning on the "natural" steak is phenomenal, excellent taste, I think if they took a few more minutes and cooked the steak at a lower heat it wouldn't have had the small raw portion. The bake potato was done right and the veggies were fresh. I would come back again, I'm very big on steak, if it would have been fully cooked it would have been a 5 star review from me, I definitely recommend this place if you need to stay in the area”

“Visited here this past Sunday afternoon. It was one of the most pleasant fast food experiences I've had. Though the food was good, it was the lady who attended me who made my visit memorable. I believe she was a manager. I was impressed by her cheerful, professional attitude from the moment I approached the counter, to the moment I left. She brought my order to the table where I sat, asked if there was anything else she could do,, and as I was leaving, she even took the time to stop me and ask if everything was good. More often than not, customers rather expect employees (at any place) to be the exact opposite of how this employee is. I also believe that the establishment deserves to know when they have an employee who is also an asset. As I drove on that day, I thought of what it would be like if everyone we encountered everywhere were more like this lady. Hopefully they know that already. The chances of subsequent revisits: 100%.”

“I've been stopping at this Cracker Barrel since they built it. It's got a great spot that makes it convenient to stop and eat before heading into or out of the Louisville metro area. They have a pretty reliable menu that with minor changes over the years has been a great way to travel and still have home-ish style cooked meal. “This store used to be horrible! I quit eating there because it was so bad. But the new management actually have great staff now. They reloaded that place with friendly staff who are well trained. The food menu is just fantastic and tastes great. Kudos to the manager on turning this store around. Kudos also to the great cooks who are fast and take care in making the food. “The guy that took my order must have been a speed rap fan, and has the ability to do it as well. The order before mine was rather large and the quick speed of reading the order back with a little freestyle rhythm made me chuckle a little which is nice after a long day at work. The inside was clean, the food was prepared in a timely manner, and everything was done at the level of satisfaction that I was expecting. Just a personal note though, ignore the people that hang out in the parking lot. They are mostly just troublemakers that nobody has had the confidence to tell them to leave.”

The hash browns which common many different options, I have never been cold or greasy for me. For the vegetarians, you can either opt out of the meat option, or substitute their delicious grits! For a little bit more you can opt out of the toast and substitute one of their delicious waffles. Given my choice of going anywhere on Earth for breakfast I would choose Waffle House!”
