“Wife, I, and service dog made our first visit last night after watching review on TV. Ordered chicken wings and Stromboli. Very good. Great atmosphere on patio with enjoyable music. Service was excellent even on a busy Friday night. Waitress was helpful and friendly. Daniel was there and helped us enter to patio with our service dog. Next time we want to order a pizza and house salad.”

“Super friendly staff who you could tell was properly trained in food safety and hand washing procedures. I really appreciate that! The ice cream was delicious and portions were generous. The only thing that I would "complain" about is that it is super quiet in the restaurant. I think a little bit of light background music would add to the atmosphere. There was an awkward silence waiting for the next customer to come in and break it.”

There is a large outdoor patio seating area which is fun during the warmer months. The bldg is old and interesting on the west side of Evansville.”

“When I think of Franklin Street bars, Sportsman's is the first one I think of. Reasonable drinks, fantastic food! A really good steak sandwich, burgers and wings are also good. They serve fresh cut fries and they're great! Free pool on a couple nights of the week.”

“We had our company Christmas party here in the upstairs room. The staff was very welcoming and helpful and the food was exceptional. Pistons provided a large spread for us to enjoy with great variety. The only real con I was that it was very loud upstairs and I could not have any sort of meaningful conversation, but I'm getting old so that's probably more of the issue. Would recommend it.”

I always switch my order up between German fried bologna with pepper jack cheese and a tenderloin (ask for it blackened.. so good!) with pepper jack cheese. Literally the best cheese from anywhere, it is a must get. Love this place!”

They have a great selection of cheap drinking beers along with an awesome selection of craft brews in bottles. “Stopped by for lunch recently and it was simply delicious. Nearly all items are cooked from scratch and are mouthwatering. Tried their “fried cabbage” and it was crispy and flavorful. We also ordered chicken and dumplings; they were incredible. Large chunks of tender chicken with light, fluffy dumpling that had been rolled out earlier in the day. Lord willing, I plan to eat here many more times when in Evansville.”

“Turoni’s by far is one of the best local pizza places to dine in town. We frequent the Weinbach Avenue location about once a month to get our Turoni’s fill. We dine as a family and order their 29” pizza! It is good and delicious. Their Lots-a-meat pizza is my personal favorite. We are there every Tuesday for the Trivia. Our waitress Tracey is a true pro! She is surrounded by a very good group of servers who won't let your drink go dry. The pizza is thin crust and super delicious. One of my faves is the Steak sandwich. The burger is also exceptional. Cheesy bread is awesome! The bread is made fresh.”

“They need to relocate into a bigger building... I have gone here for years. Amazing food, great quanity, and quality food. They always hook you up on the ice cream and their fries. I just hate the building.... Its too small, and out dated. It gets way too crowded when your trying to order and wait for food. Its gets very busy quick, and the location is iffy... That side of town has its perks... But its honestly not a good part of Evansville.”

“This was my first time at Lin's and I will definitely return. We decided to have Sushi and it was Fantastic. Sushi is relatively expensive most places, but here it's more reasonable. The Evansville Roll in particular was AMAZING! the selection is a little more limited than other sushi restaurants, but they also have hibachi, and other entree options. Overall our experience was really good, and at the end they bring out your receipt with these little candies that I really love. I mentioned casually to my group that I loved these candies and the server comes back with a handful of them. It was really sweet and completely unexpected, but she made my day. Highly recommend!”

“I go here atleast twice a week. My absolute favorite is the smoked turkey entree. The turkey has that lovely Smoky flavor but it's still moist and tender. The pulled pork is also excellent. All of the sides delicious and homemade pickles are a must. I recommend this little restaurant to everyone.”

“Family took me to DiLegge's tonight for my birthday. This was our first time here. The eggplant parmigiana w/meat sauce was amazing. My daughter ordered a tuna sandwich, she loved it. She gave me a taste. The tuna tasted fresh. I might come back at lunch and order it. My husband ordered a meatball grinder. He thought it was strange they sliced the meatballs. When he took a bite, he didn't care for it but finished it. When we got the bill, the waitresses entered eggplant grinder. When she asked if something was wrong, he told her. They were nice and not charged us. The waitresses was really nice and did a good job. The only complaint, they need larger drink cups.”
