“LOCATION: Across from Terminal B6, NOT where Google says it is. Ben's has an ok Pretzel. Could have been better if warmer, and the Cinnamon Pretzel was bathed in Cinnamon Sugar instead of lightly sprinkled, which resulted in a semi-soggy pretzel. Fortunately, the attendant allowed me to use their shaker to supplement what was added. It was a little late though, what little heat was in the pretzel, was gone by the time I added more ingredient. 3.5 Stars. If the staff was a bit more conscientious, and not on the phone, I would have given this 4 stars. I DO like the charging system on the tables at the airport, and plenty are available right next to Ben's.”

“I decided to try a new coffeeshop today. The place is close to my apartment and off 45th Street in Munster. It's located on the main floor of the new apartment complex. The lady at the cash register was very nice. I had the Begare, which is a cold brew with banana syrup and peanut butter foam. It's so good! The peanut butter foam is light and nutty. The drink is very smooth! I'll definitely be back to try their other drinks and gelato.”

I had a craving for their Ham and Cheese roll, so I gave them a call to get some on order. “My first time there was on 10/10/23. Really great atmosphere. I ordered the spinach egg bites and the lavender lemonade. The egg bites were good (very good for vegetarians) and the lavender lemonade frozen blended drink which was really good as well. I sat outside by the fire and was really warm in the chilly air. They have a walk up window also inside the front gated area. They allow dogs in that outdoor space. They have indoor and outdoor seating and tables. “Dirty Dough is the newest cookie shop in town. They just opened yesterday. 10-17-23 They don't have their gluten-free ones ready yet, so I ended up taking one of each of the regular flavors. If you look in the photos, they have six regular flavors, plus two that rotate every week. I had to try the chocolate chip one immediately when I got outside. It was absolutely excellent! 🔥 Just a little bit crispy around the edge and warm and gooey in the middle. I can't wait to try the remaining ones. They all look fantastic. This brings us to price. A single cookie is a little over $4 with the box of four being right at $15 after tax. They may not be for everyone, but definitely a solid treat. They do offer a couple cold drink options in a reach in refrigerator. They do not have the ice cream scoop cups or shakes yet. I can't wait to try the rest of them. I may even have to share instead of eating them all, but I needed to see them all at once. Do me a favor. If you go and have seen This post, tell them I sent you. “This was our first time here, and overall it was really good! The employee that helped us was really friendly and helpful. She even gave my kids a rubber ducky to play with. My daughter also spilled her water, and they cleaned it up without hesitation. The atmosphere was nice inside, and we enjoyed the music that was being played. We decided to eat our meal inside and have our ice cream outside. We were pleasantly surprised they had music playing outside as well. But the food was very good! The sloppy joe meat is delicious! We tried it on the Toasty Joe and the Crazy Tots. We also tried the Pizza Toasty and the mac and cheese, which my kids really enjoyed. My son says he doesn't like macaroni and cheese but tried a couple bites and said he really liked it. I didn't realize it's an extra charge for sauce until after I paid, but I definitely don't regret it. Their homemade Chillz Ranch is really good! It pairs perfectly with the Toasty Joe. We also got donut delights for dessert. The only thing, they didn't have fudge brownie chunks for the Peanut Butter Brownie Donut Delight and the donuts had somewhat of a plastic flavor to them. But we will definitely be back! We want to try more donut delight combinations, the donuts by themselves, and their shakes. It's nice they have an ice cream shop in North Manchester since we'll be moving here soon, and that they stay open all year!”
