“We attended a wedding here and it was lovely. They venue was great, and the kids went to feed the farm animals and play some games in the yard while the wedding party took pictures. The staff prepared the dinner, which was some of the best pizza I've had. The only downside was that the wine was not very good at all. The special drinks and beer were first class.”

“Eight pinball machines (most in one location in Iowa City), retro video arcade games, Skee ball, bowling, and a bar. The second floor with more bowling alleys and more video arcade games are still under construction (updated: now open). Bowling balls are fun with a pool ball look. The bar/pinball area opens up to the outside in nice weather. Music overpowers the game sounds, I wish games had some volume. A diet coke will cost you $3, but they are free refills. Honestly, whoever designed this place and decorated it should win an award! It's the place to go in Iowa City for a fun night out! The food I’ve tried thus far has been quite good, but the alert system is a bit odd, but it’s brand new.”

“First time trying Royceann soul food and my experience was ok. The customer service wasn’t bad. I order catfish nuggets and tried the Mac-n-cheese, cabbage, collard greens and yams. I have to be honest it took 20mins to receive my food after ordering it fish only takes 7min to fry and everything else was already on the hot plate bar so I was a little annoyed with how long it took to get my food. Also, the server didn’t wash her hands before fixing my food. The food was high in sodium and I couldn’t eat it. I asked for extra crispy fish but it was fried hard instead. To be honest the place is clean but the food wasn’t what I expected and I hated that. Was really excited to try. Don’t know if I would try again maybe I caught them on a bad day…”

“Everything about this place is great! Even though it was crowded and we had to sit at the bar ( the seats were padded and had backs) we were served very quickly and efficiently. Our appetizer - crab rangoons - came within minutes. We ordered 4 different sushi rolls, and these came on sushi boats. Some of the best I've had. Everything tasted fresh. The hard Cider on tap tasted better than the same Cider I've had from other establishments. My companion ordered the Saki and loved it. We spent over $95.00 so it is a bit pricey. But we took half of what we ordered home. Great presentation! Fantastic food! Great service! Strongly recommend this place!”

“The food here is very good. The coleslaw was flavorful with just the right amount of vinegar. The turkey, bacon, and cheddar was on toasted bread which makes all the difference. It also came with veggie straws which I don't care for. The service was pleasant and my food came quickly. The prices were ok, not high but not low either, pretty average. The latte was well made and very hot which was excellent. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a small town vibe with very nice people and delicious food.”

“My friend and I stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon and had a more than pleasant meal. I don't know if it was the owner or manager who waited on us, but he was fast, friendly and efficient. We both have to eat gluten free and he was very attentive to taking care of that issue. The food was some of the best Mexican I've eaten, with a perfect blend of spices rather than overly heated and dosed heavily with cilantro. I was very impressed!!”
