(December 2, 2019, 5:30 pm)We are sooo happy to finally have a restaurant to go to for Ethiopian in Iowa! The staff are great, but know the hours they are open are a bit limited. You will enjoy the different flavors unlike any other in Des Moines metro and the coffee options are diverse!! This is a small cafe, but worth it for an actual Ethiopian food option in the Midwest.

I will always be stopping here when I’m in town! If you want to taste food that is unique and delicious, this is the place to go!

(June 11, 2019, 1:23 pm)A surprise little eatery. The chicken gyros were delicious with a beautiful turmeric sauce and we were surprised with a soul-healing cup of spiced tea. I was so disappointed I couldn't come back for dinner and try the goat spaghetti! Next time I'm in Des Moines, though, I know where I'm going!
