shagan is really sweet and my friends and i really loved her, we will go back again, food was flavorful good price and good portion, very filling, ????????????

My family and I eat here regularly, and we’re treated like family every time we come here. The food is fantastic. When I come in I usually get 2 scoops of butter chicken and 1 scoop of something new. The butter chicken is great but she makes a ton of other delicious stuff too. When people ask me what it’s like eating at Shagan’s, I say think about going over to friends’ house and their mom is cooking for you! Very casual and friendly. If you’re pining for seconds, don’t hesitate to ask! Just make sure to tip well if you do!

We found this restaurant after reading so many positive reviews. The food was absolutely delicious!! We’ll be sure to visit every time we’re back in town! The owner spent time personally talking with us, explaining each dish which had been prepared fresh for the day. She was so delightful to talk with and you can tell she has a true passion for what she is doing. If you are looking for true, home cooked Indian food, then this is the place to go.

The food at Shagan's was just divine. Indian home style food at its best. Perfect flavours, not too oily, not too strong - authentic Punjabi food. Perfect portions as well. I love that they used stainless steel cutlery as well. You can't get more Indian than that. And the owners are so kind and polite too. I was just short of tears when I tasted the food, it was THAT GOOD. If I lived in KC, I'd eat all my meals here. Loved it. Loved this delicious authentic North Indian food place. Not just food even their customer service is the best among any Indian restaurant here in Overland Park area. You can really tell the food is really fresh and flavorful. We walked in after their closing time, not realizing they were closed and they still served us food and welcomed us with a big smile.
