“People, we need to be patient, mindful, and respectful to the people who work here. I worked in a McDonald's for two weeks and it wasn't a walk in the park. Meal times are challenging due to the amount of customers that need to be served within a limited amount of time. If you feel like getting angry at the people working here, you should try working there yourself, and see how you fare. If you consider yourself a Christian in any way, shape, or form, respecting and forgiving mistakes should be essential in your daily moral code. If you aren't a Christian, you can still act in an ethical manner and treat others with the respect and dignity they deserve as people serving us, but more so, as human beings. The biscuit they made me this morning and the coffee they brewed were both fresh and I was treated with utmost respect despite being aware that the preceding customer had been insulting to the employee. In conclusion, be more mindful, respectful, and kinder to those working to serve us. If you can't do this, then save everyone else the trouble and stay home, because whether you know it or not, those actions could have repercussions on how future customers are served.”

“I frequent this location for lunch and have picked up cupcakes for clients and ordered cakes for events. My guests are always thrilled with the cupcakes and cakes. Lunch at the cafe is typically for me to get some solitude away from the office. The cafe is darling, very comfortable, and not too noisy. I am addicted to their BLT...just the basics but put together perfectly...and soup. Today I had their tomato bisque for the first time. Delicious! I just wished I had ordered the grilled cheese today so I could dunk it in the soup. There are few places to eat in downtown Kansas City, Kansas, and this one would be a hit anywhere.”

“I work in the area. So I'm always looking for new places to try. You get tired of the same old stuff. I stumbled across this little family owned establishment. They have a wide variety of items on their menu. I ordered the Monday special which was meatloaf, and 2 sides. I chose yams and cabbage. Well lets just say when you call in a order even tho they say 15 minutes it's never ready when you get there. The meatloaf was very salty and falling apart. The cabbage was overcooked and soggy and the yams had a weird seasoning. I didn't let that 1st time get to me though. I went back for their burger the next day. DING! DING! DING! DING! WE HAVE A WINNER!!! The burgers are hand patted and made to order and it was soooo good. Even if you order a "small" its pretty huge”

Even in these trying times, the staff at the Rainbow location provided perfect service. They were professional yet cultivated a welcoming atmosphere that reminded me of burger joints from when I was a kid. The food itself was spot on. Satisfying, yet not so greasy that I'd regret touching it. I'd expected good food from 5 Guys, though. I didn't expect such patient, personable, and active staff. “This is an IHOP that's across the street from a medical school. The people watching alone is worth the cost of the breakfast/lunch/dinner/midnight snack. You haven't lived until you've seen a 3rd year student lose their mind over drawing hexagon after hexagon after hexagon on their chemistry homework while you enjoy a stack of buttermilk pancakes. I always get the sirloin tips and eggs; they're sweet and a little tangy! This IHOP also keeps their bathrooms clean, so you know it's a good one.”
