I called this location to confirm and the gentleman who answered the phone was very kind and stated that an address less than a mile from me was in the zone so he would ensure they delivered to me. This was such a kind gesture as he could have just said I was out of luck and would have to carry out. I appreciated this as it felt like he went above and beyond because sure I could have driven to pick it up but the added convenience that was provided did not go unnoticed. “We came in here around noon on a snowy day. There was hardly anyone dining due to the weather. We were quickly seated and given our coffee. Our server was fantastic and gave us several menu tips. I decided to order the southwest scramble ($7.75). It's eggs with green chilies, black beans, corn, tomatoes, and cheese, topped with green onions, salsa and sour cream. It came served with a side of potatoes. I loved it. There are several vegetarian options here and the coffee is nice and strong. Will definitely come back here another time.”

“I visited Joe's with my mom and brother during our visit to Missouri. This was a bit of a last-minute decision so we arrived when there was QUITE the line, but we expected this. But, after standing for over two hours, we were definitely starting to question our choices. Luckily, they have a bar inside that you can grab a drink from while you wait, which we definitely did. After we got to the front to order, those attendants FLY through your order, makes you wonder how there's such a line to begin with. My brother ordered the Hogamaniac (two ribs, sausage and pulled pork with toast and a side- he picked beans), I got the Z-Man (slow-smoked beef brisket, smoked provolone cheese, topped with two crispy onion rings, on a toasted Kaiser roll- GET THIS SANDWICH), and my mom got the Two Meat Dinner (with brisket and turkey and a side of coleslaw). Oh. My. God. Maybe it was because I was in line for two hours, but this was the best meal I've ever had. Please, do me a favor and get the Z-Man sandwich. It's their specialty and oh-so worth it. I thought about taking away a star because of the wait and the terrible parking situation (there are MAYBE 10 spots to park) but this isn't the restaurant's fault. Keep in mind when they open and try to get there early or really late. But, if you're in the area, you have to go!”

“Taco Republic is the perfect place for tacos! It has an awesome patio that's perfect when the weather is nice. I went yesterday when it was pretty cold in Kansas City, and I can promise the food is just as good. They have a variety of tacos, plates and salsas. The interior decoration is attended to with care. “Great, as always. I recommend the hottest BBQ sauce they have. I purchased and consumed a Burnt Ends sandwich. It was crispy and the portion size was sufficient. I had enough BBQ sauce, which I had to grab on my own. The place was pretty busy, everyone was yelling, and there were a couple flies going around. If the location and experience in store were better, I would likely give 5 stars. Gates is one of the iconic examples of KC BBQ, and I recommend everyone tries it at least once, regardless of the physical location in KC.”
