“A history lesson and a great meal! The operator was highly knowledgeable of the area's history, and was more than happy to share many interesting and funny anecdotes with us. Even better, the food was excellent! I got the bison pot roast with succotash and sweet potatoes, and my partner got the Swedish meatballs. Both were incredibly good, and tasted fresh and healthy. The bread was fresh and homemade, and was awesome. I absolutely intend to come back and eat later.”

“Wonderful breakfast/brunch stop during our Saturday drive. Everything is homemade, breakfast buffet was great and reasonably priced, and service was friendly. Cinnamon rolls are made from scratch and are probably the best I've ever had. They also makes pies, baked goods, and cheese. (If you can't make it to Durham, they sell their tasty goods at the farmers market in Abilene during the summer).”

“Good home cooking! Roberta and Terry offer generous portions, customizable offerings, daily specials along with menu staples. Tons of heart go into their food and customer service. We ordered burgers, fish, a variety of fried sides like pickles, cauliflower, onion rings, and cowboy bites. The BEST homemade ranch we've had in ages was served with them. We had mowed through most of them before we got the picture taken. The portions are quite generous. The daily specials are unique and exciting. We'll be back for breakfast!”

“This place is really nice! I went in to get my sister and I coffee tonight since we were traveling back home from a little weekend trip. Both of the employees working were really nice and it was nice to have a menu with a few different options. My sister has a gluten allergy and it’s nice to see at least a few options for her to have something to eat too. Both of our drinks were really good too. This is going to be a nice little stop on our road trips from now on. It’s nice to see a small town like Goodland, KS having a fun place like this to stop ☺️”

I've never had this happen at any other place with similar drinks. And when I looked at it kinda confused they took it back and put ice in it. Not so sure I want to come back. Last time was no where near as bad but this time the way they treated me was very shocking to me.”

Everything was delicious and tasted like good down home comfort food. Also had several pies to choose from for dessert. Waitress was polite and helpful. Definitely recommend if you’re passing through or even just as a short day trip get away from Wichita for a couple hours.”
