“Took my best friend Chef Eric Brawner for his birthday Saturday. The place was very full but was seated very quickly (hint: make reservations) Once everyone was seated we had time to look at the menu... WOW everything on it looked so good !!! I got the skillet friend chicken with red potatoes and side salad with homemade house dressing. I can tell you that the chicken has to be some of best I have ever eaten. The red potatoes were fried with onions so yummy. The corn cakes are off the page good i ate at least 6. I then had the chocolate bourbon sauce over ice cream they truly do it right here !! I live in Nashville and traveled 3 hours for dinner and its the best 6 hours round trip i have ever made”

“Our fist night in Kentucky and found this gem. Food was excellent. I’d recommend any of the burgers as our group got four different ones and everyone loved theirs. Drinks were a little pricey but were good and worth it for top shelf. The food was right on point for price. Going back again before we leave town.”

“While out meals were good they were not very exciting. My goulash would have been better with a vegetable side of some kind. The meat was tender and egg noodles were a good quality. My husband had the Jaeger schnitzel. Again, it was good but not excellent. If you like simple, home cooked food, this is likely a good choice for you.”

“If you are in town, this is a must!! Be careful, the bread is addicting and may just want to make a meal of the bread but you would be missing out on some fantastic entrees. We need to come back because there were things we didn't get to try that simply sound amazing!! What we did have was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. “Dining experience and train ride both really nice. The “murder mystery” however, was very disappointing. The plot line was silly and childish, and there really wasn’t any murder. The murder mystery itself only took about 10 minutes, split into 3 different sections throughout the train ride. Definitely not worth the extra $30 per person. But, food was good, staff were attentive. Would go again, but definitely not for the murder mystery ride.”

“I have a knack for finding out of the way bbq joints. This was no exception. Saw the grill/ smoker out front just pumping smoke out, took one look and knew I wanted whatever they were serving. (Greeted by a nice old gentleman looked to be late 80s, he was just sitting there resting as we walked in,) and then got service from a nice gal right away. Tried a full rack with some slaw and potatoes...was not disappointed. Awesome job! Cheap prices, great food. My party of 4 was all satisfied and stuffed as we walked out. As we were paying the nice lady told us that old guy was the cook. I thanked him as we left and promised I'll be back. Amazing to think how much he probably knew about BBQ...wish I had more time to pick his brain for some tips. Try it..you'll love it!”

“Today was not a great day for those people at Hardee's. Obviously they were low staffed with only maybe three up front and at the window and one cooking in the back. The longest wait I've ever had with this Hardee's. I waited 8 minutes in line. Then decided to go ahead and go around and go inside where I waited 14 minutes. I ordered two biscuits for your two for four deal and they were both egg omelettes. I love your food most of the time. But it all comes down to those that are taking the pride or not to prepare it and be happy they got that job and be happy that there's somebody in front of them that appreciates a good smile and good service. Anyway I'm sure they'll do better.”
