“We could not have picked a better spot to stay so close to the State parks. We took our first real family getaway here and it could not have been more perfect, would have loved to stay. Tony and Karen were very friendly and knowledgeable. For our family the little cabin was perfect, very affordable, a little home away from home. Would definitely recommend staying here! “Menu poor for dinner. General seating and gathering areas not particularly good, and less than other resort parks. Housekeeping could improve. No free coffee in lobby area. Nice lake view. Pool area OK. Trails OK. Can see herons and cormorants on water near lodge. Not much nearby for other meal options. WiFi poor. After Labor Day they removed all comfortable seating outside. Lots of repairs and maintenance needed to outside areas along lake.”

The seating areas are beautiful, the marques is entertaining to watch, the service was excellent, the Burgers we made/chose were honestly the best I've ever had and the facilities were clean. We didn't drive 2 and a half hours to the area just to eat here, but now that I have I wouldn't hesitate to make another trip just to eat at Harper's again.”
