“This was an excellent restaurant to dine at. They gave well enough food portions for the price. You can actually eat twice from the same plate. During the football season, they were somewhat crowded but it was well worth the wait. The wait really isn't too bad but it's just longer during the football season. They also have bar if you in the mood for nice stiff drink to get you going in the morning.????”

“GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT!!! First time I've ever eaten grits without putting sugar on them! The red beans and rice was cooked to perfection, seasoned to the tee and hot like crazy good. My eggs were think and creamy just like I like them! My son LOVED his HUGE pancakes! The syrup in packets are SUPER convenient!!! And the ham was great! We can't wait to go back!”

“Fun, first place I got to experience in N.O. The waitress was super chill, pretty attentive, and brought us all a giant water with lemon. Was glad to get the happy hour. The quesadilla I got was spiced up with the sides it came with. My buddy wasn't as happy the hot sauce wasn't hot, but they ate everything. I was told bathrooms aren't as easy to access on the strip so better use one now. They didn't have hand soap it was just a half grimy bar soap. Hope they remedy that. The guys thought it could be a fun bar to visit for a work lunch for a local.”

“Great restaurant! My French toast was dipped in an egg batter, dredge in crumbled corn flakes, and then lightly fried. I.t was lightly dusted with powdered sugar and bananas and strawberries. A small cip of syrup accompanied my French toast. Their bacon is thick cut, and their orange juice is fresh squeezed. The best orange juice ever! Great service!”

“Ooooh man my fellow foodies! Last night I had Jimmy John's and man it was absolutely delicious. I mean the bread was perfect and soft in the middle and the edges had just enough bite. I got the sliced wheat bread with grains in it on the #13 Cuban Sandwich! Absolutely Superb!”

“Out of stater & loved it! Food was on point, service workers are so cool and kind. Everything I ordered came out delicious and before the meal they provided warm hand towels for sanitizing your hands. Everything about this place was great. Decor is beautiful and has an open design & is very clean. Even the kitchen is out in the open so you can watch them work! pretty cool! I love sushi so this is a must stop for me when back in NOLA again.”

“The food was delicious. My pork chop was cooked perfect and the sweet potatoes tasted great. My wife's steak was a little undercooked but still tasted good. Our server was polite but didn't seem to know much about the food being served and I found it odd that he asked how I wanted my pork cooked. Other than that our experience here was pleasant.”

“The food was excellent. We tried the oyster sampler and three of the main entrees. Everything was very flavorful. We averaged about $40 per plate, but it was very good. The presentation on the whole fish was incredible and it was cooked perfectly. I would definitely eat here again.”

“Food is delicious. Large portions, very filling. You can clearly tell everything is house-made. Classic pizza, large slices. Pastas, salads, soup, sandwiches. Quick. Easy. Delicious. Walking distance from the Quarter, housed in a large, quiet office building in the CBD. And they do breakfast too!”

“Absolutely loved the lunch I got here. I was a little tired of Creole food, was looking for something different while taking a walk around the neighborhood and was thrilled to have found this spot on Google. Only open for lunch I believe, and it's in an office building food court, so ambiance is lacking.”

“Great spot when visiting New Orleans! We were planning on continuing our road trip but we wanted to have a nice filling authentic breakfast. After trying out the beignets at Cafe du Monde and some gator bites and Po Boys at Mahoneys, those establishments kind of let us down in flavor. The menu items were all right but nothing to be like Wow! Amazing New Orleans cuisine, we saw great reviews to this place and we are glad that we decided to check it out! We started off with the grilled alligator bites since Mahoneys was a disappointment but they were MUCH better here at Street car cafe, and then we decided to split a New Orleans Sampler Platter that consisted of Red Beans and Rice, Jamabalaya, Cajun Rice, and a biscuit. Everything was great! We also sat by the window and it was nice to see the street car actually pass by every 10-15 min and have a nice view on why it's called Street Car Cafe. Service was great and we would definitely return if we are back in New Orleans again!”

“Good rolled sandwiches. Very hearty and nutritious. Hard to beat their speed and quality in the CBD area, especially for the price. Plenty of ingredient options from the “roll your own” menu. The ladies here are very sweet, accommodating, and make an effort to learn their customers.”

“I had to get some to go wings. I really wanted a diet coke, but changed my mind. They are open and running. They sell alcohol and traditional itialian dishes. The bar is ornate and looks nice. The interior looks clean and well maintained. Not sure if more seating is upstairs. Anyway this was a good stop and I recommend”

“Can’t recommend this place enough. The brioches, breakfast sandwiches, hot sandwiches and the bread are all top notch. My personal favorites: Breakfast sandwich - pumpkin cheddar Brioche - maple cinnamon pecan and Boston cream Hot Sandwich - Big Daddy w/ house burger It’s king cake season and most of the king cakes I’ve tried around the city can’t compare to Breads on Oak’s. If you want a variety of king cake guaranteed to be delicious this is the place to go.”
