“Found this gem on my Quick tour of Portland restaurant hopping. Quaint and charming with a high-end essence yet wonderfully friendly and charming staff. Great selection of bourbon along with other cocktails and wine. However, the aura of the style and lighting definitely gave me a bourbon feel. I sat at the top bar and settled in for some mushroom toast app as perused the drink list and opting for a smoked bourbon creation of their own. It was delicious! Served with an impeccable large ice block with their logo freshly stamped into the top. The drink was served with half poured into the glass in front of me and the other half left for me for me inside a smoked and corked bottle to indulge upon when I felt ready. Thanks B & B - great stop for food, cocktail and atmosphere. Look Forward to sharing with others.”

“I visited for the first time a few months ago, and I was impressed. From the unique decor that pulls your eyes around the room, to the "hole in the wall" feel, this was definitely a place I'll go to again. Food is very good (as expected for a small shop like this) but for me, the key is the customer service. Although they have a slim crew on (due to winter I'm guessing) they are excellent. They were approachable and opportunistic to help me find something I'll love. They also made mention that they like to experiment with recipes and see what customers like so they can better the experience. That is service that stands out to me and I appreciate.”

“So we were there the 2nd night they had been open. The service was good, but lacked the refinement that experience brings. For instance we weren’t told the specials, but the table next to us was and good thing because the tuna crudo special was outstanding! All of the food we ordered was paced well and tasted amazing. The food was absolutely delicious - the clam steamers are prepared with brisket and jalapeños (big YUM), the oysters are accentuated with a little pesto (also YUM), and while the lobster roll was a little under average in size, it was reasonably priced and massive in flavor! I'm sad I don't live close to Portland and can't go eat here weekly. I'm excited to see this currently small and cute shack turn into the full establishment that is being renovated nearby. 17 out of 5 stars, will go seek it out again next time I'm in town.”

“We had the white stone spinach pizza and a side order of fries. The gentleman behind the counter was a very personable and friendly man. When I had asked for Mayo he had a server look to get some. Unfortunately they didn’t have any but he did inform me that they have homemade dressings. He offered me many options that are made on the premises. I had gotten the blue cheese dressing. This was an amazing sauce that complimented the fresh cut fries. I am 100 percent pleased with the food, service, and a bonus is that the restaurant/ bar has its own parking lot. This was nice as I had spent over $100 parking in the city to eat and shop. This is a place I will frequent again while in the city. The gentleman was very proud of the fresh made in house food as he should be. He was absolutely correct and I was not let down. Can’t wait to try the Chicken Marsala he recommended to me.”

I'm sure that they'll get the hang of the POS system in a jiffy. All of the staff seemed to be very nice people, the two children who were at the restaurant seemed very nice as well.
