Some Portuguese meals can be spicy, so let your waiter know if this may be an issue for you. We found them very accommodating. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The waitress made sure we had everything needed for a nice meal. The food was delivered promptly. Presentation was very appealing, and we really loved the Portuguese meals. They had authentic Portuguese pottery and earthenware that gave us old world nostalgia. Yes come for the barbecue, but then treat yourself to a unique Portuguese dish without the commute to Boston, Fall River / New Bedford, or Lowell.”

“This review is better late than never, because if you are interested in dining here you are going to have to wait until this fall, as Embark was a seasonal pop up brought to you by the folks who own and run The Dolphin Restaurant and Marina. The last weekend was 3/27. But if your willing to wait, you will be well rewarded. The food, start to finish, was simply spectacular. Excellent craft cocktails, wonderful appetizers, amazing main courses, and delicious desserts. Honestly, one of the best meals we had anywhere. They are very pandemic conscious, and we felt confidante enough to eat here two weekends in a row. Ask for the chefs table, the work that goes into each dish, the presentation, is really something to watch. The owners closed the restaurant for now, but definitly plans to reopen after the Dolphins season has finished. So mark this on your calendar. You can thank me later.”

I called around 8:56 pm when they were about to close at 9 pm, and I was expecting for them not to even be taking orders and I talked to the guy on the phone he was so nice and made my order in 5 min. “XO Burgers & Wings is absolutely unreal! Wasn’t sure what to expect of this pop-up/ghost kitchen concept, but given that it’s from the same folks as Eventide, you know it’s going to be good. My partner and I ordered the bacon blue cheese burger, the horseradish burger, the gourmet sauce wings, the chili wings and a side of fries. And yes, we experienced the most luxurious of food comas afterwards. The fries were amazing, like McDonald’s but without the carcinogens. Crispy, salty and very addicting. Both burgers were packed with toppings and a sauce that drips down your face as you’re eating it. Napkins are a must for this. We thought the portions would be smaller given the cheaper price, but were definitely surprised by the amount of food. Hasn’t even been 24 hours since we last ate here and I’m already contemplating when to go again.”

The seafood pasta, to my surprise, included a rich, spicy tomato base and it totally worked.
