“Ate here today and the food is wonderful! The dark meat (yes!) chicken was moist and succulent. The collard greens were spiced just right (not too overwhelming) and the mac and cheese was out of this world! Was mildly disappointed about the lack of chitterlings (yeah, I'm the dude who was asking about them). Completely understood his reasoning for not offering them. Soul food is hard to come by in Maine. What a wonderful addition to the MM food court!”

“Our usual stop - Day's Lobster in Freeport - had a long wait for take out today. So I searched for lobster rolls and found Pine Tree Seafood. I called ahead and ordered lobster and shrimp rolls. They were ready when we arrived. So we are them at the picnic table outside. The lobster (and shrimp) rolls were fantastic - I got the extra large size for $25.99. They were better than the small ones for $27.99 and twice as big! The bread was great too. This will be or new "usual"!”

“So we were there the 2nd night they had been open. The service was good, but lacked the refinement that experience brings. For instance we weren’t told the specials, but the table next to us was and good thing because the tuna crudo special was outstanding! All of the food we ordered was paced well and tasted amazing. The value for what we received was excellent too especially in a town where some restaurants can charge a bit too much. Overall a great spot to go even tho its off the beaten path.”

“I came here with my best friend during her visit to Portland and I will definitely be going back! The scones were amazing, the service was great, and the place is decorated so wonderfully. Next time I go, I will do the full 4 course tea. We did the walk-in service of curds and jam, but got a glimpse of what others had in their full tiered platters. So delicious! Highly recommend for tea service and a perfect day with friends.”

The only recommendation that I'd request were that they let you know a general time of delivery before the actual date so that you can plan around it. “Fantastic spot! The owners are awesome and very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious - the clam steamers are prepared with brisket and jalapeños (big YUM), the oysters are accentuated with a little pesto (also YUM), and while the lobster roll was a little under average in size, it was reasonably priced and massive in flavor! I'm sad I don't live close to Portland and can't go eat here weekly. I'm excited to see this currently small and cute shack turn into the full establishment that is being renovated nearby. 17 out of 5 stars, will go seek it out again next time I'm in town.”

“We had the white stone spinach pizza and a side order of fries. The gentleman behind the counter was a very personable and friendly man. When I had asked for Mayo he had a server look to get some. Unfortunately they didn’t have any but he did inform me that they have homemade dressings. He offered me many options that are made on the premises. I had gotten the blue cheese dressing. This was an amazing sauce that complimented the fresh cut fries. I am 100 percent pleased with the food, service, and a bonus is that the restaurant/ bar has its own parking lot. This was nice as I had spent over $100 parking in the city to eat and shop. This is a place I will frequent again while in the city. The gentleman was very proud of the fresh made in house food as he should be. He was absolutely correct and I was not let down. Can’t wait to try the Chicken Marsala he recommended to me.”

I'm sure that they'll get the hang of the POS system in a jiffy. All of the staff seemed to be very nice people, the two children who were at the restaurant seemed very nice as well. “Visiting from Cape Cod and was looking for an easy quick breakfast before heading back home. This place is terrific! It's so nice to see a family owned business that works hard to provide delicious food, great service at reasonable prices. The menu is large with many different and unique offerings. Practically ignored us after dropping off our food, never got water refills even after asking for more, and she never picked up our dinner plates after setting down our desserts. “Highly recommend! We were in Bridgeton on vacation and after a few hours of shopping we stopped in for a late lunch. Everything was phenomenal. Our little group got the beef tacos - nice chunks of meat with so much flavor! Sushi nachos were so good, lots of flavor and the sushi was so fresh!
