“Super nice people work here - great store with deli and shop - just be aware pump #1 is sticky with credit cards and they often get locked in”

“Fast. Tasty. Original pizza. We were in and out in 8 minutes. Bought a Pepperoni whole pie. The pizza was good, the cheese has a good mix ans flavour and the sauce is not sweet - authentic.”

“Pretty awesome place. They have really unique coffee options like snickers, or s’mores and cool donut options like fruity pebbles. Worth a quick drop in. I wouldn’t say this is a place I’d recommend for everyone as the food here is all really rich and heavy and if you are already going out to eat a lot because you are visiting the town, you may feel sluggish after eating the donuts from here. But overall, seems very clean, staff is friendly and quick.”

“Salsa Verde is a lush stream in a culinary desert - serving refreshing and delicious food. I live locally and I usually skip the local/mostly seasonal eateries. The experience I had at this small restaurant has me eager to return to try more! I highly recommend their grilled chicken - the flavors are vibrant and the meat is a nice change from your typical dry-shredded chix. Their soft corn tortillas are lovingly prepared. I could drink the house made salsa. Basically - don’t settle for sad food when you can eat here and leave truly satisfied!”

“Loved our dinner here! We were trying to sample restaurants that had more variety in their menus than the restaurants on Main Street that all seemed to have virtually the same menu. We were not disappointed! We sat at the bar and received amazing service. The food was also delicious. We had fresh oysters, lobster bouillabaisse and the steak frites. I would order the steak just a little more rare than you usually eat it, it’s a thinner cut, but still amazing!”

“I needed to post a review of Cottage Street Ramen. No, it's not the cottage of St. Ramen, patron saint of noodle soup lovers. Or is it?!? So we're in a tiny, touristy (both negative predictors of good food) town of Bar Harbor, (pop. 5089), so I had low expectations of getting decent ramen, much less good vegetarian ramen. Very low. But Lo and behold... (get it? Low expectations, lo and behold? No? No one? OK. Let's move on). Holy cow... so to speak. Cottage Street Ramen has amazing vegetarian and vegan ramen. In Bar Harbor, Maine, of all places. We ordered Spicy Mushroom Miso Ramen, Vegan XO Ramen, and Rich Shoyu Ramen. And all of them were so amazing. To start, the presentation is beautiful, a treat for the eyes, topped with grilled and fresh ingredients and fried tofu, and the Rich Shoyu has generous amounts of sliced grilled garlic which is sweet and mellow. I highly recommend adding boo choy and scallions when you order. lit adds a few cents to the cost, but so much flavor; they grill the bok choy and it's super yummy. All three broths are all so flavorful, rich and full of umami. And while the whole wheat ramen noodle isn't quite as glutinous (chewy) as white ramen noodles, it's really good, and a sight more wholesome! We're here a few more days, so before we leave, we may just have to go back another time.... or two! There is no sit down service, and you have to bus your own table when you're done, but for this level of goodness in this place, it's totally worth it. Also they have no hot sauce, only house-made chili oil, so if you like it spicy like I do, bring your own hot sauce.”

“The Links Pub at Kebo, situated within the Kebo Valley Golf Course and open to the public, is a hidden treasure in Bar Harbor, Maine. After a round of golf, it's the perfect place to unwind thanks to its informal atmosphere and outstanding selection of food and drinks. The attentive and friendly staff is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that guests have a memorable experience. As someone who has visited The Links Pub many times, I can attest to the consistently delectable cuisine and refreshingly cold beverages. The burgers, fish and chips, and onion rings are particularly noteworthy. Moreover, the staff is well-informed and hospitable, always ready to offer suggestions. The laid-back environment is ideal for a post-golf meal or a relaxed evening in Bar Harbor. Don't miss out on this concealed gem - I wholeheartedly recommend The Links Pub at Kebo for an extraordinary dining experience.”

“Lobster is always pricey so we didn’t flinch by the prices. The lobster nachos and tacos were both phenomenal. Lobster bisque was as well. So worth every penny. The environment was also excellent. Special place. Friendly staff. Great beer selection. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!”

“Entering the Black Friar feels like stepping on board a schooner ship. The crew hoists their colors proudly as they rightfully should, with an eclectic atmosphere and fresh local seafood that will have you staying longer than you thought you would. Fresh, local oysters are to not be missed at their daily happy hour, and the lobster Benedict was a perfect welcome to Maine. Take your cocktail from the bar to the quaint rooftop deck. Note that there is no elevator, so bags must be carried upstairs to rooms. Character (in the best sense) is not lacking here, in a true Maine fashion! Service was great and the food alone is worth a visit.”

“It was a busy Monday after lunch but our server, Kim, was just awesome! We were impressed with her service despite the busy afternoon. The food did take a while but it was understandable. The lobster roll was very generous from someone coming from the midwest. The short rib was phenomenal, very flavorful but the portion was smaller than anticipated. Our favorite part was the dessert. We definitely had to ask Kim since there were too many choices, she told us to try her personal fave Berry trifle and the popular open faced ice cream. She did not disappoint, they were all so good, especially the trifle, a must try for everyone!”

“This place has all sorts of sodas, snacks, coffee, beer, and juice products! They have the cleanest gas station bathroom I've ever seen and it's full of cool clocks and art! This place is perfect for when all the businesses around town close and I still want something to drink at the end of the night.”

“Fantastic food in a fresh comfortable atmosphere. I've been here three times now and and working on eating my way through the menu. Their take on Maine food re-imagined is both whimsical and well executed taking dishes like "franks and beans" and giving it a huge step up with heirloom beans and home made sausage. The pizza is delightful as is the home made pasta and don't get me started on the smash burger. They make everything from scratch including all the sauces and there are so many good sauces! The drinks are on point and many of the mixers are also made in house. The staff is friendly and attentive. Great for a group or a date. I can't wait to go back for round four!”

“Great food and an inviting atmosphere! This place may be new, but I hope it stays around for a very long time! I would highly recommend the sweet potato burrito. You will be surprised how tasty it is!”

“Stopped at Rias for lunch and glad we did. The owner is a sweetheart! Great people, producing great, tasty, fresh food. Check them out, you won't be disappointed. Sandwiches we ordered: The Frenchman's Bay, The Schooner Head and The Western Way, all excellent. Unfortunately, we devoured our sandwiches before being able to take any pics.”

“Great sandwiches, great fries. Totally awesome place and I think it could be really big. The food is that good. My son said his sandwich was so good he could cry. The fries were perfectly fried and crispy. The sandwiches were perfectly golden brown. It’s clear that they use great ingredients. We had a Philly melt, various Mac & Cheese melts, lobster roll and fries. All were exceptional. Highly recommend and I hope they will expand to other cities.”

“With a large group of friends we did the Friday night Chef's Table created by Chef Kat. It was phenomenal and I would recommend it to everyone who is in town on a Friday! She created the best oyster I've ever had!”

“The best poke we have ever tried. The inari tofu and rice noodles were unique choices, all veggies were fresh cut, the owner couldn’t have been nicer. The place is family owned and has a nice vibe. Highly recommend”

“The building has many distinct atmospheres for many tastes - with open areas including a bar area, typical sandwich shop area, indoor balcony or outdoor patio overlooking the street. Small staff is friendly and not intrusive. Our lunch was prepared in less than 10 minutes. The burgers were juicy, the fries were crispy and flavourful, and the beer was delicious. On top of all that, the prices are incredibly reasonable for such a popular tourist town. I would (and did) dine here again.”

“My wife and I planned on eating at another pizza place nearby but they were closed and we lucked out! We got the margarita pizza which was a thin pizza, with a thick crust. It had the right amount of sauce, cheese, and fresh basil. It tasted great! We also got breadsticks that were cooked to perfection. The center was nice and cheesy while the outside was crisp and crunchy. Everyone inside was pleasant to work with and greeted me when I came in and wished me a nice evening when I left. If we head back to Maine, we will be back!”

“A low key eatery with big bold flavors. The jerk chicken was very tasty. It was flavorful, spicy, but a tad on the dry side. The french fries were great but the sweet potato mash was just ok. Price wise it was on the higher end vs portion but that seems to be the norm for the area. Overall, a great place to stop by and grab something to eat.”

“This place is amazing! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. My husband and I agree this is one of the highlights to our trip in St. Augustine. Every cheesecake sample was absolutely delicious. The wine was wonderful too! The prices are very reasonable for the experience. If I could rate it 10 stars I would!”

“Ive tried all the pizzerias in Bar Harbor but just had Rosalie’s first time yesterday. It’s traditional Italian style is definitely the best in the area. Reel Pizza might have a more exotic topping offering and they’re very good but Rosalie’s is excellent. I love their very fresh chewy crust.”
