The food here is so good and very reasonably priced!! Staff is friendly! If you want a true lobster experience, eat here. Brisket is delicious too! Didn't give it five stars because some of you won't think it's fancy enough.

In the south we would call Smokey's a dive. That's a complement when it comes to a BBQ place. Smokey himself was outside cooking when we pulled into the parking lot. He threw up his hand and waved us in. The smell of the grilling meat was heavily! So, he didn't have to ask but once. The restaurant is tiny, with just a few wooden tables inside, but lots of outdoor seating. The place even has an old wooden screen door! Another sign it was a serious BBQ place. The food didn't disappoint. My ribs were moist, tender, good char on the outside, and delicious! My friend got lobster and she said it was great! I know it sure looked good. Smokey's BBQ is as good as any I have eaten in the south. That's saying a lot because we take our BBQ very seriously. If you're in the mood for BBQ while in the Trenton, Maine area stop by Smokey's. You will not be disappointed. Seriously good eats!

My wife and I were eagerly searching for a place to eat, and we happened upon this delightful place. We were instantly greeted by a man outside cooking, and welcomed just as warmly by the young lady inside. The place is cozy on the inside, and charming. The ribs were excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed my lobster roll. The unexpected gem was the corn on the cob that was so plump and juicy it literally shot jets across the table. I wish I had room to try the Unhealthy Marriage sandwich, as it has the most whimsical description of any BBQ dish I've encountered! Took home some blueberry pie, and I can't wait to try.

Best darn BBQ I've had in a long time this far North.. Walked through the door as I looked around the tables, folks plates were empty and bones cleaned.. lobsters eaten down to the shell. All a good sign, and they didn't disappoint. Will definitely be back before my trip is done.

Went in on a whim since they said “sorry, we’re open“ and I love a place that pokes fun at itself. Needed a place that has lobster and something for my wife who doesn’t like lobster at all. Wife had the pulled pork and loved it. I had the twin lobster dinner with the best baked beans I’ve had in a long time. If you need fancy surroundings this may not be for you but we loved the unpretentious atmosphere and great food!
