The Beacon Bar and Grill

Truly love this little restaurant. Has quickly become my favorite. Amazing food with amazing service. They always keep checking on you to ensure that you have everything you need, and they make you feel welcome enough to ask for anything without worrying of "bothering them" like most other places. The service alone is worth the trip. Haven't been disappointed with any dish we've gotten. Highly recommend! ???? ????

Great food and great experience! We wanted a place where the locals go, we got the recommendation from the staff at Acadia Air Tours. We were definitely not disappointed. We enjoyed a drink, an appetizer and dinner in the quaint upstairs bar. They had live music which was great too! Their spinach dip was awesome and the fried clams too. A nice casual place to eat dinner.

Simple but delicious!! HUGE portions, at least when it comes to dinner. The fries were perfectly crispy. Standard diner fare, but done really well! Leaving this review in hopes you guys stay open a long time! I do think it wouldn't hurt to make the main entrance a little more obvious, I almost walked past it!

I have visited the Beacon on many occasions. Everything I have tried is delicious. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Everything is clean and decorated beautifully. The staff is great, always eager to make sure everything is great with our dining experience. Cannot wait for the next visit.

Portions real large put food was not very tasty. Nice small selection of beers some local. Waitstaff was friendly but the restaurant itself was very plain. much of the food needed seasoning or had too much salt The burger was dry and overdone. The chicken tenders were average. The shrimp batter have an odd taste to it. The French dip sandwich had an odd taste as well. They did offer 10% military discount which was very much appreciated. Maybe interested in returning in future years to see if they made any improvements. We understand from other reviews that this is a new restaurant and they need time to improve.
