“I find the one star rating(s) very hard to believe. I've eaten here 3 times this past summer and I had a great dining experience *all* 3 times. The food was creative and very, very good. What really stands out is the hardworking crew. Everyone looks happy and that is nice. The crew hustles to give you a good dining experience. Even the bussers and runners were smiling and took the time to say "hello, how was things"; come on, that's nice. Think of how RARE that is these days. I've had the crab cakes, the shrimp appetizer which is North Atlantic shrimp which was delicious! Yeah, this place is new and they deserve to work out any small details that may arise. I love what they've done with the place. Sure, the old Dennett's was a local institution and a great place. I think this place will become the same. I love this local restaurant.”

I've eaten at MacLeod's a few times and had other foods on the menu, and you can never go wrong with a Maine lobster roll! Their meatloaf was not a preferred item for me, but I think meatloaf is a tough item to make as nothing quite compares to your own mother's recipe. There are many other menu items to choose from such as salad, soups, sandwiches, seafood, steak, and gluten-free items.
