“Starbucks are mostly the same, but this one really has great people working behind the counter. I live nearby and my daughter and I stop in often for a treat. The staff here had gotten to know my little toddler and always make her feel very special by giving her a hearty greeting and asking her about her day, etc. It's much appreciated. Starbucks is obviously a mega corporation, but when the people working there are friendly and community minded it makes it feel like an earned part of our town.”

“I liked it here. My espresso tasted great and the staff was professional and really friendly. Sara, a pretty girl with red hairs, was nice and attentive. I’ve enjoyed the little chit chat.”

“The best Starbucks around. They serve up the most consistent cup of coffee. I like regular cream and sugar in my coffee and most of the other places I buy coffee at (Dunks, Aroma Joe's, and other local places) can be hit or miss on the level of sugar and cream. This place continues to give me exactly what I want.”

“This place is my absolutely favorite go-to! They have so many options for whatever I feel like that day, from energy drinks to protein shakes to unhealthy frozen hot chocolates! Tiffani is also such an amazing human being and is the best at surprising me with new flavors!! She knows so much about nutrition and what goes into her drinks, which makes it guilt free when I get 3 drinks a day The cafe is so cozy and perfect for doing work/hanging out and they have amazing swinging chairs!! Definitely recommend!! (:”

“The guy in the black dress that waited on us at the drive thru on Friday morning was very nice. Jokingly charged 30 bucks for a straw. I would love him to reach out personally.”

“I absolutely love this Starbucks. Now, I'm sure you're thinking this is just a generic post because it's a major chain but it really isn't. The staff makes sure they learn who you are if you're a regular. They're all friendly, they take the time to be courteous and just so much better then any other location I've been to. Keep it up everyone”

“Stopped in for a quick bite to eat for lunch with a party of nine. Had quick service to set up some extra tables for us so we could all sit together outdoors. Food offerings were adequate for lunch, but the wait for the food was a bit long. This is understandable though, as some in our party ordered grilled fish. The food came out well-prepared and our server was attentive and pleasant to everyone. A nice experience with the Daily Grind! ”

“Been there several times in the past week and all of the employees were super super friendly, fast, and efficient. All of my drinks were perfection as well. Will be returning soon!”

“One of my all time favorite places to get breakfast or lunch with friends! They have amazing bagels and home fries, and their specials are always sure to please. Between the vibe and the food, this place will always be five stars to me.”

“Love love love this place! It’s small and comfortable with the most delicious food and perfectly brewed coffee! A must visit when in town...the scones are moist and flavorful and the sconewich is unbelievable!!!”

“This place is AMAZING! We have introduced this place to our friends and they couldn't believe they had never been before. Each bowl is packed with so many wonderful fresh ingredients. You can't beat it. All of the staff is absolutely great as well super kind and they are all happy to be there! :) See you tomorrow for lunch!”

“Fast service here. Bigger then the Portland location. Look like a bigger selection too. There outside seating to enjoy the weather. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would suggest this place over the Portland on.”

“The coffee was fine. It was a quiet rainy morning and the perfect day to tuck in with a hot cup of coffee. I think sometimes employees forget that their voices carry and I got to listen to all the issues the woman was having in her personal life.”

“We drove up to Maine for the day and got some assorted donuts to take home. We were so disappointed when we finally opened the box whose heavenly aroma had been filling the car for hours. They were the most amazing donuts I had ever tasted. The strawberry shortcake was dense, yet light and creamy. The monkey bread was like sampling little cinnamon roll morsales. My husband who asked me not to get him anything took a bite and asked when we were going back. We live 3 hours each way ???????? We are still going through withdrawals. So good, reasonably priced, and an eclectic assortment. It is now on our must stop list when heading north.”

“Such great owners. The Columbia Falls General Store is such a great small town store. The hospitality is the true small town feel. They care about the products they carry. From hand made knifes to handmade guitars and wooden toys the skill level from the local talents are truly amazing. The food is great, I try and get lunch there once a week because the food is so great. You will not be disappointed by stopping and going back in to time and history of how life use to be and how life should be.”

“Cute little restaurant right off the Downeast Sunrise Trails. We stopped in as a small group in need of food, and wasn't disappointed. Tip: if you get the streak and cheese sandwich, the small is HUGE. So unless you've got a heck of an appetite, I'd suggest getting the small. Fries were extremely fresh and hot, and the sandwich was great. Will be going again.”

“Great place! Lots of seating, but it felt a tiny bit cramped. Food was fantastic. Got the crab dip as a starter and I highly recommend. The seafood mac and cheese for my entree was fantastic - the scallops were cooked really well. Food came out timely and everyone had a good time!”

“Food is creative, tasty, and original. Service is good. Outdoor seating available, convenient to all parts of town. Would give it five stars but they stop serving dinner at 9pm while bar stays open past 1am.”

“We ate here 24 years ago and came back in August. Same place - cute little diner. It was busy but we got a table right away. This place is known for their Maine wild blueberry muffins and pancakes. My husband ordered the blueberry pancakes and he said they are just as he remembers them. Blueberries inside the pancakes, he said the way they should be. Very good pancakes. This is what they're known for. I ordered an omelet with breakfast potatoes. This was very good too. But the best part? They make gluten free blueberry muffins. I never expect restaurants to cater to diet restrictions, so I was beyond thrilled!!! This is a busy place and the servers are quick and efficient. They'll make a little small talk if they have time, but they are typically hustling. They are pleasant and can anticipate your needs.”

“Not open 24 hours. Town closes kitchens early but luckily this place had decent sandwiches and a microwave.”

“Very good food, but expect to wait. It's quite popular, and with all the cute outside seating, it really draws a crowd. We got the lobster eggs Benedict and it was very good. Coffee was just okay, and the maple in the maple latte was...subtle. Dog-friendly seating out on the lawn.”

“Cute little bakery walking distance to Deal Harbor. Probably the best breakfast we had on out trip! Blueberry Monte Cristo!”

“Stopped by for a quick lunch and was delighted to see their menu offered soups that were not chowder or bisque. (Can get a little tired of seafood around here) Had a lovely lamb stew soup with pretzel bread croutons. My husband had a delicious big chunk of bread pudding with maple syrup. Recommend a stopping here for lunch.”
