“This feels like a college bar tried to grow up and not really change much. The drinks (ordered two different crushes) were way too sweet. Surprisingly the bar food was ok and the atmosphere was fun, but definitely rowdy like a college bar. I recommend the buffalo fried cauliflower and the tots were pretty good.”

“Very cute small place in Bethesda. We had a friendly waitress and very attentive. The menu was pretty extensive and lots of choices, some vegetarian. All of the food was very good. “This restaurant experience boasts the classic charm of fancy French dining but with a friendly staff and accessibility unique to the food industry. The bistro-like setting is free of stiff formality and can fit for both special and informal occasions. The food is of course delicious and will speak for itself. I will say that there are two strong points with the cuisine. The sauce for every dish is masterful and really compliments the flavors. The other strong point is creativity. The canard confit was plated beautifully to compliment its sweet and tender taste. Chef Christian also took something like the classic Napoleon Pastry but added a twist of strawberry custard and other unique flavors to completely warp an appetizing dish into something bold yet still delectable. His deserts are my favorite and one of many good examples of his inspiration!”

“Comfort food & Quick bite is what this restaurant is clearly known for. I ordered a Beef & Broccoli combo w/ fried rice and an egg roll. The beef and broccoli was good but not great. The sauce on the beef had a good flavor. The pork fried rice was dry but enjoyable and the egg roll contained a too much ground beef. However, the delivery service was quick and there was no hassle ordering through the phone. Definitely a place to eat if you’re in a hurry/ hungry and are unable to leave your room.”

“Decent price, friendly service, WiFi, refills. Definitely a five guys competitor, with some extra flare. Dined here three times during my stay as the value and service was great. I'd recommend going one level up from your usual cooking temperature as they can be more cautious to undertook than overcook. The tables are well stocked with A1, ketchup, etc. The drink machine isn't skimping on syrup, and the burgers have great flavor. There's a good amount of variation with types of Burger but not too much to be overwhelming. I'd come here to grab a quick bite to eat anytime.”

“I absolutely adore this place. I eat here several times a month. Mondays - bottles of wine are half price. the staff treats me like family. the food is excellent. they remember little things like I like ice with my sparkling water. they have even changed menu items at suggestion. they listen, and they care. if you go and eat once, you will go back. decor is beautiful- so it is a great date night place, but i can also go by myself and know I won't feel alone or out of place. I usually start with soup or an appetizer , then do a half order of ravoli, then an entree (often a special) and I always finish with dessert. The pastas you can have marinara, cream or amore' sauce. There are a lot of seafood options, and though I do eat meat they have several vegetarian options as well. I recently tried their white pizza which was excellent - there is truly something for everyone”

“I've come here twice, now, for business lunches. One word to describe the food and staff ... AMAZING! I love Ethiopian food and was excited to try an Eritrean restaurant, I was left satisfied. “I'm not sure where to start... George's was an absolute disappointment. I came here for my birthday because they had an open table at the time we were available. We were seated at a small two top which I requested a booth (for the occasion) but was given the impression that wasn't how they sat a party of two. At the end of our meal they sat two folks at a booth; I digress. The food was good but not great. I ordered a NY strip as it was on the top of the menu and I was told by the server "we're known for our steaks". I could have picked a similar cut from Safeway. I reordered a filet after fighting, to no avail, with the gristle vein. Mixed drinks were above average, cake was dry. This place struggles on my scale. It gets a 3 for the things I didn't mention; fresh oysters, appetizers, and they actually cooked to rare as ordered.”
