“It seems like a neighborhood old head bar with a lot of regulars the food was ok typical bar food the drinks were made with love although they are still on the pricey side for that location but they do offer happy hour Mon- Fri and the atmosphere was relaxed and chill. If you're looking for a place to just come relax drink grab some wings watch the game or play pool without all the regular hassle this place is for you but keep in mind it's a mature crowd.”

“I went to Mary Lou’s for the first time on Sunday for brunch and the experience was overwhelming. For one the music is WAY too loud! There was a band playing and you could barely hear yourself think. My next issue is the service, the waitress was extremely slow like she was overwhelmed as well and lastly the food 🥴 I ordered the lamb chops. I never seen such small lamb chops in my life, someone actually compared them to frog legs! I love supporting my black businesses but we have to do better.”

First, I don't know how y'all count 4, but there were more than that many in my rib dinner. Thank you. The mac 'n cheese was creamy and a little tangy. The collards were well seasoned and not cooked to within an inch of recognition. I am not ashamed that I was trying to eat and shift (drive) at the same time on the way home. “Ordered 18 wings and a medium veggie pizza +pepperoni. Pizza toppings were very sparce. This order was placed through the app and scheduled for curbside pickup. There is no designated parking for curbside pickup. I sat in my auto directly in front of the entry door for 10 minutes. Even though my order had been ready, no one brought out the order. I eventually went inside to get the order. Asked that they return the prepaid tip and they did without hesitation. I know they're new. Open 2 weeks now. I'll give them one more shot to get it together. Hope they do.”

After being underwhelmed by the jambalaya at a different location, I was hesitant on what to choose, but I decided to go for for the catfish and grits, I was pleasantly surprised. The meal surpassed my expectations. The food was so fresh, filling, and flavorful. The staff there (Patrick in particular) as he took my order had remarkable patience and attentiveness throughout my visit. I’m excited to return.”

“10/11/22: My family ordered a spot dinner, 2 whiting dinners, and a trout dinner. Everything was hot, plentiful, reasonably priced, and DELICIOUS! The sides of coleslaw, fries, and hush puppies were great compliments to the crispy fish. (Grateful the hush puppies were delicious. Ain't nothing like a gross, flavorless hush puppy.) Didn't get desserts this trip, but will check them out soon with the next order. They're a welcome addition to the neighborhood, but need to make their presence better known with all the surrounding competition. Looking forward to the next meal! Yummy 😋”
