“Wow, such a find. Dockside coffee and pastries with excellence. Not something I would think to even really look for but a Google search offered it and the reviews helped entice. Rise up (regional roasters) coffee made well; fruit bowl with chantilly … yeah French sweetened whipped cream. Fruit exceptionally fresh and clean. We were around Kent Island for a couple of days and will hope to return. Highly recommend … also likely a nice end of day cocktail spot.”

“Inexpensive place to crash, just the basics, Heat, A/C, hot water, soft bed and cable TV. Short drive to good restaurants in downtown area. We needed place close to Annapolis and didn't want to break the bank. For me, a motel is just a place to sleep and bathe, so I do not need the resort experience.”

“Went to lunch here on a Wednesday....didn't see the hours posted so had to check... Ordered crab cake sandwich and cheeseburger with iced tea and ginger ale. Waiter, who was also tending bar and other tables, and not sure if he was the new owner, was very polite, let us choose our table, and took our order. Menu was different, but items were explained on menu. Crabcake was HUGE with a fried green tomato! My mom enjoyed the cheeseburger too! Fries were served in the cutest little fry basket! Price for all this was around $40. We enjoyed our sandwiches...very different menu with interesting choices. Table setup and decor were very nice!”

“I showed up at 4:10pm on Saturday 6/3/23 with 4 new tires I purchaced on Amazon to see if they could mount and balance them for me. There was only one guy working (who happened to be the mechanic/owner/cashier... the other guy had just left for the day). He still was willing and did the job, very well, while helping other customers....running back and forth to do so. **Definitely a better place than it was under previous ownership!”

“After dieting for the past 4 months and losing 50 pounds I can safely say that this place has been an amazing establishment to where I have my cheat meal, which isn't even bad at all! I have a little bagel Saturday tradition that myself and my father in law have picked up on and it is amazing. Trying a different bagel here and there but for my favorite consistency grab you a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. You can't go wrong! Everyone is so helpful as well. Has a great home like feel to the place and makes you want to have a chat with one of your buds in there!”

“First experience with the new restaurant. I like the new layout with the walls removed and the additional Tvs, dart board, and stage. Our waitress doesn't stay at your table long enough to give multiple orders, she often drops and runs. The place was packed and it's unfortunate that the seating isn't more organized because I watched several tables leave after sitting for awhile and not being waited on. Food was mediocre - my friend at the table said the burger was delicious, my other friend had to send her chicken Caesar salad back because there was very little chicken. I ordered the buffalo chicken wings and gravy fries. The wings were meaty and the buffalo sauce was not super spicy - but the wings were not that hot temperature wise. The fries were nothing special. The gravy was ok but we are pretty sure it's from a jar. The best thing we had was the brownie from the brownie sundae. The vanilla ice cream again just ok. The pours on the wine were good. I recognize it's a new restaurant and my review is not like a few of the others. I chalk it up to growing pains and look forward to giving another try soon.”

“The restaurants pretentiousness is accommodating for the sub par food. Price point did not match the quality and presentation. I would not go back for the food, messy cut onions in my french onion soup with a sad strip of bread that had a sprinkle of burnt gruyere on it. The burger was an impressively cooked medium, but had a very small slice of tomato and few red onion slices. The meat tasted slightly high end (rosetta farms), but the brioche was dry and not very good. The french fries were unique looking but did not taste that great. Would be better recooked at home. The ambiance was quite good. The wait staff were very friendly. The food was not impressive, but kudos to the chef for cooking a perfect medium.”

“I heard so much about the Royal Farms fried chicken!! One of my girls like it!! The chicken skin has a kick of spicy. The mashed potato is made with real potato - I can taste the potato. The ladies here are very polite and nice. I saw some unique items, and picked up a bag of New Orleans chips and hot chocolate bomb. Can't wait to try them out. The ladies bathroom was ok... watch for dirty seats and some flies.”

Highly recommend this spot away from the city and next to the Bay.”
