“This is a KFC & TACO BELL in one. It's the only one in the area. The food is good but one employee in particular made them lose a star. She was very rude and pushy. Didn't give you a chance to order all of your food before she started yelling with an attitude "does that complete your order". I actual asked to speak to a manager when I got the window to collect my order. However, by the time I got up to the window it was a completely different person. I told them I didn't appreciate the way in which the other person who was taking my order spoke to me. The young black man was very courteous and apologised on behalf of the Company. He said she went on break. Then I saw the young lady sitting on the sidewalk smoking a cigarette. She looked visibly upset with someone she was talking to on the phone. I was tempted to stop and say a few encouraging words to lift her spirits but the look on her face said she didn't want to be bothered so I left. She has to learn to keep her personal life separate from her work. You can't take your anger and frustration out on your customers because its bad for business.”

“Our kayak group of 17 came here unannounced. They accommodated us within 10 minutes by pulling some tables together. What's even better is that the waitress let us all do separate checks! Water was brought out immediately. Our drinks came shortly after. Within 10 minutes, our waitress came to take our orders explain the menu, answer questions, and even made substitutions for a couple of people in our group due to dietary restrictions. Food came out quickly and amazingly she remembered everyone's order! The Ethan was a great hit! The Reuben was also highly recommended! My friend had the Grilled Tina Steak Salad and it was gorgeous; I wish I would have gotten that. I got the crab cake sandwich and was very happy with it. My husband and I are definitely going back! I read mixed reviews when they first opened a couple of years ago, however they've worked out any kinks from our experience and they are going to be on our weekly rotation.”

“My Husband introduced me to St. Mary’s Landing and he was so right, they’ve got fantastic fried chicken!! If you favor a more rustic scene, then you’ll appreciate the down home atmosphere and being located right across from the Hughesville Farmers Market adds a tint of country laid back even more. Again, I always order the fried chicken you can’t go wrong there. But the only down side I’d say is that there aren’t many side orders to choose from (and we’ve been so many times that I’ve tried them all) and they’re all bland. But I don’t go to St. Mary’s Landing for the sides...I go for the fried chicken!! I do like the fact that they have a bar and the margarita wasn’t too bad.”

The gluten free(ish) pizza is good, but usually burned edges. I don't think there is a remedy for this. To not burn the edges, the middle would be cold. I'll take the burn for a hot pizza any day. In the time we have been ordering from this location 90% perfection in ordering. Once in a while things go awry, but they have always been remedied.”
