The Galley

Address: 305 S Talbot St, St Michaels, MD 21663, USA

Restaurant

“Great outdoor seating area with lots of shade. Food is excellent at a fair price for a main street restaurant. Service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. Water is flavored with fresh fruit and/or cucumbers, a neat quirk. If they are busy the service can be a bit slow, but makes for a relaxing brunch.”

Foxy's Harbor Grille

Address: 125 Mulberry St, St Michaels, MD 21663, USA

Restaurant

“Great Cheeseburger! The food was served with energy and smiles on a day where the restaurant was overrun by customers who were coming back from St. Michael's Sea glass festival. The burger was hot Angus and delicious with fresh bun and veggies with chips! Their Angus burger can be compared to Ted's Montana Grill - and win! Great portions and fantastic service considering how swamped with customers they were! Grace and performance under fire separates great restaurants from the good ones! Their water view is a delight! I will be going back here again!!!”

Limoncello Restaurant and Wine Bar

“It’s a wonderful restaurant. The food is outstanding. Staff is very attentive. Atmosphere is like being in Italy especially with the music they play. Owner is pleasant and comes over to your table. I would recommend this restaurant.”

Harrison's Harbour Lights

Address: 101 N Harbor Rd, St Michaels, MD 21663, USA

Restaurant

“I had dinner here with my girlfriend Amanda during the last week of April. The food was very good and had some throwbacks to the original Harrison’s Chesapeake house when it was in Tilghman. The seared tuna appetizer and half & half soup were excellent. The waiting staff was very personable and fast. Especially Dexter. The upstairs has a great view of the harbor and downstairs was more casual with a cool looking bar. The parking lot was full doe to it being the Harbor Inn’s but we ended up parking in front of an empty boat slip not too far away. We’ll be back.”

Address: 9784 Martingham Cir, St Michaels, MD 21663, USA

Restaurant

“Pic ok I can'loo”

Chesapeake Landing

Address: 23713 St Michaels, MD 21663, USA

Restaurant

“Wonderful service for our large group of eleven! The ambience is good as well. Much of the food was good, too, but some was not. Many items were deep-fried - shrimp, oysters, onion rings and French fries. Most of those were good, not greasy, but also not of any remarkable size - adequate but on the small side when thinking about the seafood. Reuben sandwiches fell apart as the restaurant uses bread that is sliced too thin. As for the fries? This place needs to make their own! I haven't seen these crinkle cuts since high school!”

“Excellent swordfish in a tomato and olive sauce, some of the best I ever had. Seafood pasta was well prepared and had lots of shrimp and scallops. Service friendly and good [despite warnings to the contrary] but we were there off season. Great view of working harbor. Would definitely go back.”

The Tilghman Island Inn

Address: 21384 Coopertown Rd, Tilghman, MD 21671, USA

Restaurant

“Where do I begin? My Mother decided to surprise my husband and I with a childless night and a room to celebrate our Anniversary. She thought that she had reserved our favorite room at Knapp's Narrows, but instead reserved us a room at The Tilghman Inn. We stopped by our favorite local spots, when they asked where we were staying everyone stopped to look at us like we were crazy. "That place has been vacant for years" they'd all explain. So we decided to go take a look and see for ourselves. We pulled into an empty parking lot execpt for an old broke down Jeep that had clearly been there for quite some time. The awning was ripped off. The hedges untrimmed. The place surely looked abandoned. We went in. To our surprise there was a card on the front desk with our name on it. And bars up blocking the doorway to the restaurant. No power was on at all. Open the card and it tells us our key will be waiting for us on our bed. Ok then. We go through scary doors, through a door that says "KEEP LOCKED SHUT" and enter a hallway that looks like there may be a set of twins at the end of it at any second. So we decided to go in and check out our room. At this point I've pulled out every weapon and shiv I could make out of the contents of my purse. Our room was incredibly clean. It was a gorgeous view. There was power in our room. There was running water and a clean bathroom. There was a working fire place. There was a chair that fit under the door handle. And it was quiet. And as scary as this place was, we have 4 wonderful and very loud children, dogs, cat and a variety of farm animals and neighborhood children that I can't write off, so the quiet was a welcome sound.... We left to go to dinner. Everyone at the bar was happy to see us. They asked where we were staying and when we said the Tilghman Inn the entire bar literally fell silent. Silent. Everyone told us again "that place has been vacant for years!". I call Knapp's Narrows. No Vacancy. Awesome. We go back to our room. It's dark. There's some man with long hair and a white stained undershirt sitting in a white truck with the interior lights on next to the building. I grab a screwdriver, my purse made prison shank (I think) and a fork I took from dinner for protection. When we got out he pulled up fast in front of the building and got out with a hedge trimmer in hand. I can't even begin to tell you how I felt about this. Apparently he was the "grounds keeper". He chatted for a few minutes after putting the hedge trimmer down and wished us a good evening and we went to our scary room. We put the chair against the door and had a few beers and my Husband slept like a baby. I laid awake with a large fork and watched the beautiful sunrise... We then went downstairs the next morning and the bars were down from the restaurant and there was frozen fruit in a bowl, some cereal and hot coffee placed on a table. No power. Dark bathroom. Beautiful view. Empty. Clean. This place is an experience all it's own. It's like Scooby Doo, just actually scary, because it's real and there are boats close by to take you to drop you in the ocean. But there was no check out time which was nice. And again, the place was clean. So I don't know exactly how to explain. Would I go back? Probably not. I think I'll pass. I wouldn't consider my time there restful. But there was nothing wrong with the room itself.”
