“Went here on a hot summer day and was surprised that they have no air conditioning. I realize a lot of places dont have AC but this spot is a bit pricier and newer inside. They have two hostess tables so you need to pick in advance if you want to sit outside or inside and then stick with it. It would be nicer if you could just go to one spot and say you prefer outside but then after waiting 20 minutes could tell them you want to sit inside if it's going to be a lot faster. I ordered a wedge salad and steak tips. It's CRAZY because they charge $5 per steak tip! So my $9 salad would cost $24 if I got three tips. Lucky the waitress warned me and I settled for two steak tips on the wedge salad. There was barely any bacon though which stank. The tips were great but I can't believe they were so expensive. “Definitely a lunch and/or dinner go to. There thin crust pizza is easily the best around and their Italian sausage subs with peppers and onions was better then any Italian sausage sub I've ever had on the cape. The whole team is super friendly and always willing to go out of their way if you need anything or have any issues. Very sad they close for the off season but I'm counting down the days until they reopen next summer!”

“Family of 7 . . . What an awesome place to eat! Menu left nothing to be desired! Hot dogs were amazing with toppings galore! Burgers were tasty and huge! Chili cheese fries were to die for! “Went here with a friend yesterday after a recommendation from my Mom. It is a very casual place, where you order at the counter, take a number to the table and they deliver your food to the table when it’s ready. The restaurant and bathrooms were nice and clean. Both the woman who took our order and the server were friendly and kind. We both ordered the Fried Fish Platter and a bowl of clam chowder. We got the chowder right away and it was a delicious thick and creamy chowder. Everything was cooked perfectly and there were no chewy clams that you often find in clam chowder. The Fried Fish Platters came out piping hot and in addition to the three large pieces of fish it was also loaded with French Fried and Onion rings! The fish (and sides) were amazing and all cooked to perfection! I would definitely eat here again and save room for ice cream next time!”

“Stopped in for breakfast not expecting much but a decent meal. Ended up leaving with a big smile on my face and a full belly. Our server Faith was friendly and engaging, which made the experience that much better. She was prompt in service even with a full house. I cannot recommend this place enough, just based on the service alone. The food itself was outstanding. The hash omelet I ordered was fluffy and warm. The hash tasted perfect, the cheese had a great stretch, the home fries were crispy and seasoned well. If you get a chance to stop here, in season or off season, I highly recommend stopping here before a beach visit and get a fantastic meal from a wonderful staff.”

“Joe and Christine have done it again! The new restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere with great staff and delicious food! The decor is so tastefully done. It's an atmosphere that is casual and comfortable. I came in with my mom on a Friday night and we both had a delicious meal with a wonderful waitress. Christine was at the hostess stand welcoming everyone and Joe was helping in the kitchen and chatting with some customers at the bar. There was a steady flow of customers and everyone looked like they were having a great time. I know they will be so successful in this new location. I can't wait to go back!”

“We are spending the week in Dennis and found the Swan River Restaurant and are glad we gave it a chance. We've been there the last two nights and have reservations for Friday night. Food has been terrific. Beautifully prepared and plated and very fairly priced. The Seafood over rice in a spicy red sauce was perfect. The fish was fresh and perfectly prepared. The starter salad was fresh and crisp. Last night we had Haddock taco as a starter and it was delicious. The Swordfish for the main course was freshly caught and and delicious as well. The owner is a warm friendly person and her servers reflect her positive attitude. They were professional and very friendly. Give this restaurant a try. You will be happy you did.”

“We ordered for take away and the person answering the phone was very pleasant and patient. We got there exactly when they said it would be done and just as we walked in the door they were cutting it and boxing it! Perfect timing! The meat lovers pizza was DELICIOUS! “Sat out on the deck overlooking the marina and the river. The view and atmosphere were both great. Our server was excellent. There when you wanted her but not hovering. Very patient and friendly. Steamers were good but a little sandy. At our table we had a clam roll, tons of clams on a nicely toasted roll. Scallop roll with scallops that were perfectly prepared and tasted like candy. Skip the chicken wings. Generic frozen type. Out of character compared to all of the other fresh food that we had. The cheeseburger was overcooked but otherwise very good. We really enjoyed our lunch and will be back.”

“Jason's Tavern thinks it's a pub but actually it's a cute little restaurant. Located in a strip mall near a movie theater, CVS, and a couple of stores, Jason's has plenty of parking. The restaurant is divided into three distinctive areas. The first is a "family" dining area with tables, the second is a collection of cozy booths, and the last is a classic bar with a brass rail, stools, and high tables. The menu is large and includes pub favorites like burgers and fries, salads, and a range of entrees. The food is good but the servings tend to be large. We enjoy the ultimate nachos... an appetizer big enough to share as an entree. The waitstaff is quick and cheerful. Jason's fills up quickly in the summer so arrive early or be prepared to to wait.”
