“There is only one reason for not giving this place 5 stars. Every time we have been there the food has been good, the beer selection is good and the bartenders (Lisa and Susan) have been really good. Tonight I got the salmon burgers and it literally fell apart into pieces onto my plate. I ate it and didn't want a refund or anything like that but it could be better. Aside from that the place is great! Awesome place to watch a bruins, Sox, Pat's, or Celtics game .”

“Best haddock around, especially its Nantucket blend with cheese and crumbs. Steaks, grisley but tasty. Italian, a tad too much garlic. All around a very pleasant Italian eatery. Update: On two separate visits had to return haddock because it was undercooked. This should never happen. I wonder if there us a new chef. Haddock was as thin as a pancake. Will monitor in future.”

“Jake n Joe's is our go to for drinks and a bite. Also a great place to watch sporting events . The outdoor patio is great in the summer! Theres so much space inside... we always see a new face and they are all so nice. I am vegan so I usually get the Korean cauliflower app which is so good! The pizza dough is vegan friendly, sometimes I will order without cheese & all of the veggies. So good! They also have small, tall, and by the bottle wines which is convenient”

“Let me just say... I’m impressed. I have never gotten good customer service at any subway but today was different. I went in for my lunch and asked for a foot long veggie delight. The man proceeded to ask me if I was vegan or vegetarian which I responded “yes”. He then made sure that the subs with meat on them moved down the line before he put mine down. He then changed his gloves and did mine completely separate. It may not be that big of a deal to people or you’ll say “they should do that anyways” but you’ll be surprised at how many locations I’ve been to that don’t do it, or give horrible attitude if you ask them to! I wish I got the mans name but he was great and made my day!”

“The food was delicious! Both me and my guest picked the chicken/rib combo. We chose different side items though. My sides were collard greens, macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes. There were 3 chicken possibilities. We both got the regular barbecue wings. There was a hotter version and a spicy lemon version - maybe will try something different next time. My friend got jambalaya, sweet potato, and collards for sides. The decor mimicked an authentic Tennessee barbecue place. Free parking was available. They provide take out. Moderately priced.”

“We went twice because the food was so good! We are a family of seven and ate so well that we didn’t have to eat again till dinner time for the price of 55 bucks. And I have five teenagers two of which are huge boys that eat like a horse! The boys said let’s go back the next day so we did and they remembered us! “I have been going here for years, great food, mostly friendly. Not happy about the surcharge for debit/credit. It’s getting out of hand with so many small businesses. Yes, only a dollar, but that adds up every time you go. It’s 2019, no one carries cash! Friendly stated it was illegal in the state of Ma to have a surcharge with debit/credit cards. Was rudely brushed off, and told “no it’s not, “there’s a debit machine right there”. Here’s your proof. Section 28A: Cardholder discounts; surcharges; finance charge Section 28A. (a)(1) With respect to a credit card which may be used for extensions of credit in sales transactions in which the seller is a person other than the card issuer, the card issuer may not, by contract or otherwise, prohibit any such seller from offering a discount to a cardholder to induce the cardholder to pay cash, check or similar means rather than use a credit card. (2) No seller in any sales transaction may impose a surcharge on a cardholder who elects to use a credit card in lieu of payment by cash, check or similar means.
