“Just had the mushroom and goat cheese tart and a piece of the upside down rhubarb pie. Both were delicious! The chocolate chip cookie was a bit on the thin side for me. It crumbled in my hand and half of it ended up on the floor. Sad face. I will definitely be back.”

“Decent bagels for Boston, but I don't understand the hype surrounding their bagel sandwiches. Specifically, what's going on with their egg? I'm from the NY area and have pretty high standards for breakfast sandwiches. I've been here a few times when I need to satisfy my craving, but while it's better than most here, it's still seriously lacking. The other day, I watched them "cook" my egg. They heated up a dry egg patty (like McDonald's) and then plopped it on my bagel. This answers the question I had about their egg being underwhelming every time. The bagels themselves are decent, but after my first time here, I have to order them toasted (a perfectly fresh bagel shouldn't need toasting). It also makes me sad they don't offer meat (no bacon, egg, and cheese :( ), but I respect their reasoning behind this, and it doesn't cause me to deduct stars. Next time I go, I'll probably buy a half dozen and then make my own sandwiches at home.”

“The best meatball I've had since my mother's. The pasta was perfect. The thin crust pizza is out of this world. We never eat the crust and we ate the crust! We've come here every night we've been town. If I lived in Brookline I would come every day. And David is very friendly and knowledgeable. Fantastic spot.”

“I live down the street and always order from Tatte and have had amazing experiences so far! Today I had a sandwich that didn't agree with me and I was terrified of calling and asking for a refund - I didn't want to be a "Karen". But the staff and manager were so understanding and issued me a refund without any hesitation. I WILL be coming back to Tatte because of numerous past great experiences, and great service in a difficult moment. It happens, and regardless, the food is delicious. Thanks for helping me out, I really appreciate it.”

“Barista was pleasant. The coffee seemed small. Somewhere 2.50–3.00$, don’t remember him asking what size I wanted so I just went with it.”

“This is probably the best Dunkin on Beacon in Brookline. Friendly workers. Good donuts. The place was filled with families enjoying their Dunkin. Makes for a great atmosphere. My son and I were impressed!”

“It’s a small little out of the way cafe you wouldn’t be likely to find if you didn’t already know about it. But you walk in and already know you’re in the right place with that perfect combination of baked goods and good drinks. A strong chai latte comes in a fantastically sized cup. And they provide enough compassion and thought to talk to everyone unsure of what to get and steer them in the right direction. It’s a place where people can talk about their dogs and get asked if they can be pet. That’s a great place.”

“Fantastic Chinese buns, sandwiches, and noodles, some of which are actually hard to find in the Boston area! Great staff and quick service too. An unassuming gem in Brookline!”

“Vegetarian review. I tried the eggplant spuckie with 'hots' and a cup of tomato soup. The sandwich itself is quite tasty but a bit mild and monotonous on flavor if I had ordered the full instead of half. Be warned that pressed here means pretty much toasted in the outside but I liked it as you may be surprised. That being said, I would say that toasted is the way to go here. The Downer here were the 'hots' whichever combination of banana peppers and cherry peppers and they are anything but hot. I was a little wary while ordering them because it is vinegar based but you will be happy to know that I could not detect the vinegar in my sandwich. The soup was a pleasant surprise. It is a much deeper reddish brown and color and different from any other tomato soup I have tried. It reminds me of a very fancy soup from a can. I know it sounds bad but the soup is tasty and you should try it. Also it is not from a can.”

“Good coffee. Similar to Tim Hortons in Canada with a few more high end coffee options like cold brew, nitro, etc.”
