“This is an outstanding little dive bar that was within walking distance from our hotel. The bartender (later I learned was the new owner) was very friendly upon our arrival. Our beverages never got below 1/3 empty before being asked if we wanted another. Valerie (I believe was her name) was very helpful with places to go visit on our short trip. She proved a list of bars/restaurants/clubs that she felt we would like (and she was spot on) in the downtown area. I got wings (forgot to snap a photo) on our lunch visit and then the Shroom Burger on Sundays dinner visit. Both very good food. Prices were amazing as well. The bourbon selection was amazing as well. I was very impressed to see this little bar with such a great selection of bourbon. If you are a dive bar person, this is your place. If you're not, instill believe you'll enjoy this little gem. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Give them a visit. I surely will the next time I'm up in Boston.”

“I mean the place isn’t run by Italians. Seems to me mostly Spanish speakers in there. The sandwich was still enjoyable tho. I got the YOLO sandwich which was essentially an Italian sub. Was a good sub, average price for a sandwich. There isn’t a lot of food within that price in the seaport rn. So is good to have some cheaper options.”

“My daughter and I usually drive to Providence for Guatemalan food. But I saw this place near her school and wanted to give it a shot. I walked in this afternoon, greeted by smiling faces. The place is clean and welcoming. I ordered carne asada. It was delicious and well priced. I will definitely go back to try some other things. Highly recommend. Another reviewer mentioned that they don’t speak English. That wasn’t my experience. I have good comprehension of Spanish, but spoke English today and had no problem. Also; the menu is filled with visuals, so it’s easy to see what you’re ordering. I love supporting neighborhood gems like this.”

“Had a great dinner last night at The Waverly. We started with the steak tartar and pork belly lettuce wraps which were both delicious. For our main course we had the day boat scallops and the mac and cheese. All the food was presented beautifully, tasted amazing and the service was on point. “Beautiful setting for an afternoon tea at the Boston Public Library. For a set price, you get champagne or a non-alcoholic sparkling beverage, an assortment of tea sandwiches, scones, and desserts. “It was my first time going to this restaurant and my uncle and I had a great experience. The waiter was very attentive and we had the tamarind fish (cod in a sweet and sour glaze with veggies) and the seafood hotpot (it had squid, shrimp, and scallops). It was delicious and I recommend these plates 100%. Both of the plates were non-spicy but for there's a lot of options for the spicy lovers as well.”

“Came in for brunch. Omelet, Shakshuka, Benedict and Bloodys. Omelet and Shakshuka were ok. Charge extra for toast on the side of the omelet. Benedict eggs were way overcooked. So food score was probably a 4 as it was fine. The main reason for the 3 was the service. Server took our order and we never saw her again. Someone else delivered the food, no one cleared our plates for probably close to 20 minutes. Finally asked the hostess to grab our plates and then asked her to bring our bill, she also took the payment.”

“The bar is located on the ground floor of the Lennox Hotel. You can't reserve a table, so you have to show up and, if it's not too crowded, you can start by going in and ordering a drink. “Absolutely incredible food. Service was also great and atmosphere very good. I had the vegan meatballs which tasted extraordinary. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. I also got the Mediterranean Sundae for a dessert which was the perfect balance with sweet, salty and spice. I also had an ice tea to drink which was one of the best, strongest iced teas I've ever had. This place is a must-come if you're around.”

“Great place that opened in place of cafeteria on Newbury Street! We came here hoping for a table, and a wonderful host snuck us in for a date night. Though the food was not specific to a particular cuisine, the team did a great job with prep and flavor. The spinach artichoke dip was out of this world, and the lamb burger was very filling. Kudos for the bartenders as the drinks were worthwhile as well. A big part of this rating is due to the kindness of the staff. Our host was so kind and our waiter was attentive as well. Definitely would visit again, especially to sit outside in warmer weather !”

“Beautiful mini-park with walking/running trails (no bikes allowed) around the pond. The boat house has sailboats and rowboats to rent, for a small fee. Lots of seating all around the pond as well as pull-up and push-up bars.”
