“"To 'Lime' in Trinidad is to spend time, play and eat with family and friends, to appreciate your surroundings and ties and to celebrate life." The quote above is taken from Lime Chelsea, a wonderful addition to the Chelsea waterfront neighborhood dining scene! Petal Joseph, owner and executive chief, has created an upscale delectable international fusion menu rooted in flavors from Trinidad that truly delights and satisfies. For course 1 my partner and I ordered the potato crips and spicy tofu vegetable soup, both of which were excellent. Course two included the Curry Cauliflower and Chana, Uncle Andrew Salad and Basmati Rice as well as the Seared Tofu, Balsamic Onion, Carrots, Radish and Greens. Both were elegantly presented, at perfect temperature and utterly delicious! I still find myself daydreaming about the taste of the Seared Tofu two days latter! We rounded off our dinner with mango sorbet and chocolate mousse, which were the ideal concluding taste notes to what was an overall Chelsea Lime symphony of palate, presentation, ambiance and service! We left filled, but with no leftovers. Portion sizes are reasonable, but not excessive. Their bar is also notable, with a thoughtfully curated wine, cocktail and specialty drink menu. In short, Lime Chelsea is a one-of-a-kind upscale neighborhood restaurant. All dishes are handmade and high quality ingredients, which was evident from our dining experience. While we imagine Lime Chelsea will become a regular destination for local residents, it is also a destination dining experience worthy of a commute or drive. Parking is available on Winnisimmet St as well as Broadway in Chelsea, MA. There are also public lots beneath the Tobin bridge within a 2.5 block walking distance to Lime Chelsea. If you are looking for a new restaurant to try we highly recommend Lime Chelsea--it will surely live up to it's namesake!”

“Had a great dinner last night at The Waverly. We started with the steak tartar and pork belly lettuce wraps which were both delicious. For our main course we had the day boat scallops and the mac and cheese. All the food was presented beautifully, tasted amazing and the service was on point. This is a great addition to the neighborhood and I can't wait for my next meal here!”

“Beautiful setting for an afternoon tea at the Boston Public Library. For a set price, you get champagne or a non-alcoholic sparkling beverage, an assortment of tea sandwiches, scones, and desserts. Everything was tasty especially the scones - they were to die for! There’s a wide selection of tea as well. It’s a perfect place to catch up with friends or just to soak in the history of Boston.”

“It was my first time going to this restaurant and my uncle and I had a great experience. The waiter was very attentive and we had the tamarind fish (cod in a sweet and sour glaze with veggies) and the seafood hotpot (it had squid, shrimp, and scallops). It was delicious and I recommend these plates 100%. Both of the plates were non-spicy but for there's a lot of options for the spicy lovers as well.”

“Came in for brunch. Omelet, Shakshuka, Benedict and Bloodys. Omelet and Shakshuka were ok. Charge extra for toast on the side of the omelet. Benedict eggs were way overcooked. So food score was probably a 4 as it was fine. The main reason for the 3 was the service. Server took our order and we never saw her again. Someone else delivered the food, no one cleared our plates for probably close to 20 minutes. Finally asked the hostess to grab our plates and then asked her to bring our bill, she also took the payment.”

“The bar is located on the ground floor of the Lennox Hotel. You can't reserve a table, so you have to show up and, if it's not too crowded, you can start by going in and ordering a drink. For the table you have to be careful to occupy one as soon as it becomes available. The atmosphere is really nice for after dinner drinks. The drinks taste really good.”

“Absolutely incredible food. Service was also great and atmosphere very good. I had the vegan meatballs which tasted extraordinary. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. I also got the Mediterranean Sundae for a dessert which was the perfect balance with sweet, salty and spice. I also had an ice tea to drink which was one of the best, strongest iced teas I've ever had. This place is a must-come if you're around.”

“The Greek salad I tried is pretty good. They have nice options for veggie lovers. Must try. They have extra table space in a lower level with less music and noise. It's a very busy place, I recommend placing the order via their app beforehand to save time.”

“Great place to get seafood. The raw bar is fresh with quality ingredients. Each bite is made into the perfect flavorful bite! The presentation of the food is nice. The canned fish menu is large and has a nice accompaniment to pair with the fish. The tuna flatbread was large and the tuna with the roasted tomatoes was great. If you want to sit outside you'll definitely be waiting a long time.”

“Great place that opened in place of cafeteria on Newbury Street! We came here hoping for a table, and a wonderful host snuck us in for a date night. Though the food was not specific to a particular cuisine, the team did a great job with prep and flavor. The spinach artichoke dip was out of this world, and the lamb burger was very filling. Kudos for the bartenders as the drinks were worthwhile as well. A big part of this rating is due to the kindness of the staff. Our host was so kind and our waiter was attentive as well. Definitely would visit again, especially to sit outside in warmer weather !”

“The food was delicious, and the drinks were excellent. I'm not giving them five stars because all the pasta dishes and the razor clams were slightly overcooked. However, the ambiance and service were great. I’ll consider coming back to try the pasta dishes one more time.”

“We booked the Substation for our staff fun day/outing last July 29th. The venue was perfect for what we planned to do and it was accessible to public transport as well as to stores for us to buy supplies. It worked out to have Adams Park as our outdoor space for the venue. Laura Charles who was our contact person was very helpful in identifying possible vendors for our event and communicated with us every step of the way. They set it up as we have requested. We would recommend the place for any event. We had 60 people and space was still large enough to have an impromptu dance floor :)”

“My favorite sushi restaurant in Boston. What I love about the sushi is that it’s high quality and always fresh. The portions is very fair and the price is fair for the quality that you get. This is my go to place when I’m craving high quality sushi. Favorite dishes are chirashi, avocado ball, and fried green tea ice cream.”

“Came here with my friends to check out the hype on the coreanos bowl. They had limited seats available, so we decided to get a takeout instead. Had to wait over 30 minutes to get our order, but it was worth the wait. Got the yang yum chicken, coreanos bowl, kimchi fried rice, and the tteokbokiki, and everything was satisfying. Tteokbokki and the kimchi fried rice were on par with what you would normally get at typical Korean restaurants around. Nothing special, but decent choices to get in the meal. The real standout was obviously the coreanos bowl. Topped with some magical sauce, it kept me going for more. The rice had a good amount of fatty flavor from the meat, and with the slice of the fried egg, it was a perfect bite. The yang yum chicken was also good and not too spicy. Highly recommend trying the coreanos bowl, but make sure to order ahead as they can get really busy in the evenings.”

“I love this place. I've gotten my usual. Large chicken burrito and including chips and salsa. Ingredients is always fresh and the food is always delicious. I feel like I can never get enough of their food. And yes, I will be back in the near future.”
