“Haven’t been to The Rowe Inn in many years. Always made it a point to eat there when we went up north. My husband, Norm Baylis, was a fan of sweet Annie, who was an outstanding wait-person! The whole crew was the best, and the food was done to perfection. This place is one of the best in Michigan! Have had trouble remembering the name of this little town and the name of restaurant. After a lot of searching, I found it and next time I go north, I will stop in for another great meal!! Everyone should make a point to stop for quite the eating experience at The Rowe!”

Food took a little time getting to us but was expected. Service was good. Limited menu but the well Thought out dishes make it appealing for anyone. Smoothies, salads, wraps, stone fired pizza, grass fed burgers, beyond burgers. A small but excellent selection of MI craft beer and wines. This was all in all a 2 thumbs up experience.”

However the food is not anywhere near as good as it used to be. The prices for the food are a bit much for what you get. I've been coming here for about 10 years now and it's still the same Ivan's. River bistro or the lake view will give you better service and food.”

“We were on our way home from our summer getaway and wanted to have a decent breakfast before going home. What we got was far beyond that. It was Sunday, a day on which they have a breakfast buffet. It's $10.95 for adults, $9.95 for seniors and $6.95 for kids 6-12 years old. The buffet was well stocked with scrambled eggs, grits, sausage, bacon, pancakes, French toast, biscuits, sausage gravy and fresh fruit. No one in our party of 8 people had a single complaint. Also of note, the price does NOT include beverages, but does include made-to-order omelets. I'd call that an excellent deal. Some important details: To my knowledge, the buffet is only available on Sundays. On Sunday morning, your ONLY option is the buffet; they don't take orders beyond omelets and beverages. Gratuity is not included in the price. All things considered, I felt like we got great value for our money and the service was fine, even as the place got busier. Enjoy!”
