“The staff is very friendly. The service was a little slow but still very friendly. Unfortunately the food was not very good. We ordered a pizza and it was not good. It tasted like a frozen pizza one would buy in a grocery store. My wife and I, who are not big eaters, wanted to share a full rack of ribs. UNFOUNATELY when we found out they were going to charge an extra $5 for a second plate we didn't order that or any other entre'. That extra charge is unacceptable. We will not be eating there again.”

We were still enjoying the memories of that night at a Christmas gift exchange when a set of dockside glasses was the most sought after gift. The food is great,service fast,and atmosphere superb. “We came here on our first vacation to Elk lake. Great location and atmosphere. Pretty good food. The servers and bartenders are friendly. My only complaint is how slow the food is. We went there twice and thought the first time wasn't normal but the second time was just as slow. I recommend coming here when you're not too hungry and have time to have some cocktails while you wait.”

“This is supposed to be the best pizza in Elk Rapids, but that doesn't speak very well of all the other places in town!!!!! Unlike other reviews, our order was ready for pickup at the requested time, but it's late September and most of the tourists are gone, so they're not real busy. The salads were very good, and a good value! I had requested my pizza well done (extra bake in their jargon) and it was not, plus they are stingy with toppings. Buddy's and Jet's are much better, but that's a different market.”

“My family and I are staying at a cabin on Torch Lake and found this place on Google maps for breakfast. Their menu has lots of great food and drink choices. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We all got something different to eat and we all loved it! This place isn't huge. So, seating and parking gets full fast. Overall, we loved our meal! We will definitely be back next summer!”

“This place has fantastic Creole food! I have visited New Orleans many times and this place has the best Creole food that I have found in Michigan. If you go during the summer, remember that the restaurant is very popular and you can expect a wait of 45 minutes or longer to be seated. It is also kind of expensive. I've been twice. The first time I spent about $40 on 2 drinks and an entree for myself. The second time I went along with my 3 daughters. The total was close to $200 including tip. Great food and a good place to go if you have time and money.”
